Lovely food and very pleasant and attentive waiting staff!We really enjoyed our meal ,everything was perfect throughout our visit.

Staff were polite and friendly but service was very slow. One of my poached eggs had a hard yolk and the 3 people who had ordered the full English commented that the bacon was tasteless. Mushrooms had been forgotten from one plate and we had to ask for them. The potato rosti was tiny - it looked like someone had taken a bite out of a larger piece and put it on the plate! It was also somewhat disappointing that it was my hen party (I was wearing a sash and bow/veil) but this wasn't acknowledged. Then a service charge was automatically added to the bill. Some parts of the meal were really tasty, but I wouldn't come back here for brunch again.

Terrible attitude by the male manager very argumentative so we took our business elsewhere very sad to see as I have been coming here for years & all the other female managers have been lovely sad to see him run this place down

After a bad experience earlier in the day at a Fuller's pub down the road, we opted for our favourite high street restaurant, Côte! This is actually the first time reviewing them, we've eaten there several times over the past few years and each time the service is excellent the food always delivers and the prices are very reasonable! Have never had a bad experience and they continue to impress us! Loved my steak today!

We went last night for my mums birthday- the team had put up a Happy Birthday banner, sprinkled the table with confetti AND given her a birthday card- it was such a lovely gesture. The food was sublime as always, the team working were all so friendly and had such a laughter with us. Always have a great experience here. Can’t wait to go back!

We went for my birthday, and I felt so special the entire time. The manager, who we unfortunately didn’t get the name of, went out of his way to make me feel really looked after, and the personal touches made me really happy - and he had great cocktail making skills! Thank you so much to both him and Côte, amazing service as always!

Like sitting in a Mediterranean cafe. Luckily Had a sunny day to sit in the outside area. Not very busy but quick and efficient service. Good food and value for money.

Have dined at many Cote restaurants over the years. This was our first, and last visit to the Godalming Cote. It was awful. I ordered the burger and it arrived burned and overcooked. How they thought it was ok to serve such a burger is astonishing. Service was slow. Overall, the Godalming Cote gives a bad name to an otherwise well reputable brand of restaurants. Poor standards and service like this wouldn’t happen in London or Guildford. My advice to anyone reading this would be to skip Cote Godalming and go to the one in Guildford instead, or McDonalds for a nicer better value experience.

Jazz on Sunday at this restaurant was delightful. Staff were helpful and friendly and served my spritzer exactly how I like it. Food was freshly cooked and tasty. Well worth a visit.

I would really like to compliment the manager Karl at godalming cote, he is amazing. My friend and myself came in for a late lunch with my 2 year old son who got a little bit upset. A older couple next to us were rather rude about it and upset me. Karl went above and beyond to comfort me when they left to reassure me that I wasn't a bad mother and tried to help me calm down as well as my son. What a fantastic experience to a very upsetting situation. I would like to thank him for being so nice and making a stressed and upset mummy feel alot better
Unfortunately miserable experience today. Simple requests met with shrugged shoulders of indifference by the manager, uncooked vegetables, tasteless fish stew, tuna nicoise with tapenade instead of olives. Just poor all round and pack of care from all but the one waiter who seems to be the only one interested in customer service. Back to Prezzo and the much better independents like Piazza Firenze in future.

Very very poor service for a birthday meal of five people Exceptionally slow The chef dropped the last remaining chocolate mousse so no dessert! The food had been lying under a heated lamp for a long time

Very disappointed with service the Steak Tartare was presented with Three sauce bottles, the green pepper bottle was dirty at the top and just about empty asking the waiter to replace it I was less than pleased when the second bottle was also grubby and completely empty asking for yet again for anther bottle the waiter asked quite politely what were we doing with it !! this time it was replaced with a new bottle . Not a very good start to a birthday meal.

Every few months I need a cousin who I have known all my life. We try to choose a restaurant which is accessible for me by bus having now given up driving. We chose Cote in Godalming, as a convenient place to get to. we chose the fixed price menu at £18.95 for two courses and a starter with your head to glasses of wine I had the Roche SB and my cousin the Comte de Provence, which we enjoyed. For desert I hadthe Berry Clafoutis. They are very pleasant waitress recommended as a starter and main course which we both had unfortunately it was not sited out on the bill I received. We thought it was very good value for money.

Great lunch for three today. Excellent choice on the lunch menu. Staff were attentive but not in your face. I can recommend the squid, steak friet and the chicken. Croc mesure was excellent. Great to have one in Godalming. We desperately need a restaurant that isn't Italian,Indian coffee shop or a charity shop (ha ha)Parking: Crown Court or Queen Street parking are the best options during the day.
