My relatives from the Lake District stayed for 1 night, and I went to see them and have some dinner. there was 8 of us but the restaurant had plenty of space I don't have anything to say regarding the rooms. The restaurant is nice, clean, and tidy. The menu was good, I had liver and onions on Mash, very good ? service in the restaurant was very good.The only thing I can point out was that the toilets were very dirty. Took my partner for a "lite-Bite" which ended up being a three course lunch lol.I started with the mussels and she had the chicken liver pate, totally delicious.Then for mains i had the Scampi and she had the Pasta Con Pollo - for dessert i had the apple and rhubard crumble, my partner has the sticky toffee pudding - both served with custard.To say the food was delicious really would be an understatement.Service was great, very pleasant and get friendly staff.Highly recommend...read full review

The food and service is what makes you return time and time again - not having been for a couple of months things were as good as ever. Most enjoyable - the Fowey mussels are to die for!!
