Have been here on several occasions, often for a dog walk followed by Sunday lunch. Took my sister this time and she loved it. The most excellent roast dinners and the boys loved their food too. Friendly and efficient service as well. Thank you ?

Had an absolutely excellent Sunday Lunch last weekend with some friends for a festive catch up. The beef was the best I’ve ever had and flooded with a really rich gravy and loads of veggies.Staff were perfect even though the place was packed! Tom talked us through wines to match our food and the food was delicious.The table next to us had a large sharing steak which looked incredible so we booked again for Christmas Eve for more amazing Sunday food and hopefully one of those steaks if there are any left!Excellent pub. Keep up the great work. Miles better than it was this time last year.

Visited late on a Sunday lunchtime after a lovely walk through the area. The pub had a great atmosphere from the moment we walked in. We were greeted with a warm welcome and decided to grab a drink in the bar before heading to our table for lunch; the Bloody Mary beat off the cobwebs from the night before for sure. My friend said that his pint of TEA was the best he’d had in a long time and clearly well kept!We shared some delicious chilli & lemon prawns to start followed by a roast beef and roast pork. Both served with all the trimmings and were well presented and full of flavour. It was great that even though later in the day the White Horse still served a roast with everything fresh and tasty.The staff were helpful and really friendly. We cannot wait for our next visit to the area…just so we can sneak out to The White Horse for a great bite to eat.We will we you soon.

Great impromptu Sunday roast after a stroll round Winkworth. Roast beef with all the trimmings was banging! My wife had the vegetarian option (Wellington) and loved it too. Great food and a very friendly bunch of people!

Good quality food, friendly staff and dog friendly. Not cheap but reasonable value and we enjoyed our visit.The dog treats at the bar were a nice touch and the staff happily supplied us with a bowl of water for our thirsty boy.
