The menu states the potatoes , chips, and the Courgetti Fritti are vegan (plant based), but they are fried in the same cooker as the calamari and meat!!!!! which basically make it NOT vegan. Such a shame they are cheap on a fryer, as it makes the whole place not vegan friendly ? If not for the nice waiter, we would of ordered it, but luckily he told us beforehand!

We ordered from this restaurant several times. It used to be good, but recently they've been making their meals without care and the pizzas you can get from them are an absolute mess. They don't even bother to stretch the base properly, to cook with enough ingredients and the distribution of the toppings is done without paying any attention. Not to mention the wrong extra topping; apparently they cannot distinguish between two different types of chillies that they are offering. And they don't even fully acknowledge their mistake. Train your staff, Zizzi!

The restaurant was clean and tidy, as was the approach up the stairs to eating area.The staff were very helpful, not pushy and wanting to assist. I had a voucher that was unusual, but the person serving me had no qualms in researching it for me as it enabled me for a benefit as a member of the Zillionaires club.The food was delicious and well-presented. I had the Poleni pizza, which was lovely. The fudge cake certainly had the feeling of putting on the pounds as I savoured itI ate on my own, but I did not feel that I was an inconvenience. The staff were really good regardless of where you were a solo customer, a couple, or part of a group.There is a barcode on each table if you would like to order or pay your bill in that manner.I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

The evening was marred by an unsettling scene as the restaurant staff engaged in a heated argument, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere for people having their food ! To compound matters, the wait for our food was excruciatingly long. It became evident that the internal turmoil among the staff had spilled over into the kitchen, resulting in a noticeable delay in service. Our orders seemed to be lost in the chaos, leading to an extended wait that tested the patience of all. As we observed the disarray, it was disappointing to see the impact it had on the overall atmosphere of the restaurant and the anticipation of a delightful meal was overshadowed by frustration and disappointment. When our food finally arrived, it was apparent that the kitchen had also suffered from the situation. The quality of the dishes was subpar, lacking the attention to detail and finesse that one would expect. It was evident that the discord among the staff had a cascading effect on the entire dining experience. In conclusion, my visit to Zizzi's was marred by a disruptive staff argument and an unreasonably long wait for substandard food. It's disheartening to witness such a decline in the quality of service and overall experience at a venue that I had previously held in high regard. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly, as they significantly detract from what could otherwise be an enjoyable dining destination.

A miserable solo customer treated me it’s utter respect. Yesterday I ate elsewhere it was as awful. Hated every moment. Today was an unplanned meal in a city I did not expect to be. Treater like a prince . I won’t say the staff are working off their feet - no - they have stepped to the plate & gone so far beyond it is totally unexpected. Best meal in a long time!!

Had dinner here prior to a show. Service was excellent but I was a little disappointed with my pizza. The pizza itself was ok but as I'd asked for mushrooms and extra cheese I felt the paid for additional toppings were not worth the extra expense. Come on Zizzi - don't be so stingy. Not even sure if I got a whole single mushroom.

Visited Zizzi in Guildford enroute home. Very disappointed. We usually visit Chichester branch and always have a great meal there however, the portions were significantly smaller in Guildford, the pasta was over cooked with hardly any chicken and a couple of leaves of spinach. Chips were half filled and pizza definitely smaller. Waitress said they were strict on portion sizes and was not able to accommodate any of our requests. We will not be visiting Guildford branch of Zizzi again and do not recommend.

Do NOT eat here with severe allergies!! My daughter has anaphylaxis to egg, milk, sesame and nuts and the kitchen was unable to cook anything for her. She was also not allowed to eat her own allergy free food which she had brought along just in case. So she couldn’t eat anything, while being out with a group of 6 friends, who were also shocked by the way she was treated. The restaurant was really out of order.

The kitchen could not cook anything for her, but she was also not allowed to eat her own allergy free food which she had brought along just in case. She ended up eating nothing and felt very unwelcome and embarrassed. She was with a group of six friends who were also shocked about the way she was treated. I never write reviews but this was really out of order.

Compliments to the chef.. and they were made personally.. I could not leave the restaurant without doing so.. the food was exquisite.. above and beyond what I would expect from a chain restaurant that’s for sure. I have not been this impressed by food since I can not even remember! I will definitely be going back and for someone who is coeliac to enjoy pizza this much believe me is a miracle.. just amazing.. thank you chef! Front of house were lovely too, sorry not forgetting you but it was the food that blew us away.. keep doing what you’re doing
