Had a wonderful night at the Drummond in Guildford, we were there for a leaving doo, me and my friends ordered a selection of snacks off the bar menu and they were served really quickly and were wonderful. We were there on a Thursday night and the open mic night was wonderful brought such a good atmosphere and me and my friends really enjoyed the singing Of grace and Hannah who made the evening so full of enjoyment. we will definitely be returning for the next one!!

I had the pleasure of dining at Theion, which I firmly believe is possibly one of the best Greek gourmet restaurants in the UK. Lorenzo's Cafe Restaurant

First time been to this place and I really loved the food & atmosphere! We had cheese omelette with salad , chips and the portion was very generous.. I will not be hungry for the rest of the day ? We will be back more often , it worth to drive 40 minute to have our breakfast to you guys! I highly recommend to everyone !

THE IVY ASIA, GUILDFORD

Had lovely birthday lunch with friends at Ivy Asia in Guildford. Restaurant has great view of the castle from the window seats. Food was delicious and fairly priced - we had the lunch stack. Also, great service from Sarah G who looked after us extremely well. A very enjoyable experience. We also appreciated the Dry January cocktails as various members of the party were driving/not drinking.

We hadn't booked but I popped in with a mate who keeps banging on about the charcuterie.They found us a small table as they were busy.We ordered the charcuterie.Got moved to a larger table for more surface area.Great service, nicely done. And good meat well cooked.Cheers

A fantastic sushi place in Guildford! The food was great, there was plenty of selection, and the ordering process was very easy! I would very happily come again, although be prepared for Guildford prices as the sushi is a little pricey but I think it's worth it!

Brasil Vegano Cafe

It’s easy to give this cafe 5 stars all round. It’s evident that the food and drinks are made with a lot of love and care, that the owners truly want their customers to enjoy what’s being put in front of them, whilst providing a warm, cosy and friendly atmosphere full of Brazilian vibrancy. Love the menu selection and happily would come here again and again to try more things. Guildford is lucky to have this great independent vegan cafe.

Red Lion

Popped into a quick beer whilst fishing, Shaun (the boss) was extremely kind and helped us out with coal, logs and even some very special burger sauce for our night camping, service is exceptional!

Fantastic Mother’s Day Lunch. We were a bit concerned that on such a busy day they may be overwhelmed. But what a great day! Beautiful Pub, all the food was excellent without exception. Really lovely staff, our server Tess was brilliant, attentive and funny. Highly recommend we will definitely return.

Me and my mum came for an afternoon tea and we had the best experience ever! Mainly because our waiter was fantastic and very hospitable - his name was Egzonn. He was super friendly, constantly checking if our food and experience is good. He even went the extra mile given it was my birthday! I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Egzonn again.

Seahorse Guildford

Went for dinner with my elderly parents, easy access for the disabled and plenty of parking. We had a delicious dinner and the staff were excellent. The mezze was incredible and the portion sizes were generous. We had a lovely meal and my Dad lamented that there was nothing as good around where they live.At the time of day we went there were families with young children eating and the staff were very good with them too.We had a lovely evening and I look forward to returning!

We had a nice visit. The waiter who greeted was friendly and welcoming.It’s quite a small space so if you have children/prams in tow it can feel limiting. We were sat right at the end next to the TV which was not the nicest as it was also right by the loo and the tables are pretty close together so it’s a squeeze to get to the bench. The food was ok. Nachos had cheap cheese on and were a bit burnt. The guac tastes ok. The tacos were ok. Wasn’t super impressed overall.Kid-friendliness: They aren’t particularly child friendly in the sense there’s no menu for them (though if your child is willing, there are options on the main menu I’m sure) no colouring activities etc so take your own (not a big deal).

The Ivy Castle View

Stopped by with my daughter for breakfast. She had pancakes with berries and I had the Full English. Great portion size, well cooked and generally delicious. Daughter loved the colourful breakfast and ate it all! We had a wonderful time, with the staff patient with my 2 yo and were attentive without being intrusive, even offering colouring pencils and paper for her to use! Will be back again soon.

Staff were intentive but not over bearing. Good honest pub grub with a hint of finesse. Good local ales on tap with a little pub garden and parking at the rearParking: Car park to rear is tight access but fine for Ford focus or similar

Had a lovely Time at the three pigeons with My Sister and Best Friend, warm welcome on arrival, promptly served for drinks.Ordered three steak meals and they were lovely, really enjoyed it, great presentation to.Service was excellent would definitely go again if we visited Guildford again

The White Hart

Excellent food. Whitebait was nice and crispy. Extremely tasty pie of day, steak and onion, with plenty of meat and gravy and al dente broccoli. Cricken breast and chorizo in mushroom sauce also hit the spot. Nice environment to enjoy a relaxed lunch after a blustery walk. Pleasant and efficient service also added to a positive experience

Rogues Bar

Surrey Law Society hosted our annual quiz at Rogue's Bar in 2023 and had a fantastic experience. The staff were so helpful and the room looked great. We will definitely be returning and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Kinghams Restaurant

Absolutely exceptional food and service in a beautiful, cosy and relaxing setting. Came here for my mother-in-law’s 75th birthday (and who had her wedding reception on the then-different restaurant in 1980 and who’s loved it since). Each course was mouth-wateringly flavoursome and done to perfection in taste and presentation.The waiting staff were so kind and attentive. To top it off they overheard us saying happy birthday to her and brought out a surprise dessert for her with a candle. Absolute treat of an evening. Thank you!

Unplug + Play

Really friendly and accommodating staff. Happy to help set up and explain games if wanted to help speed up playing new games. Prices are good and you can bring your own stuff and order in at a small extra cost while their own prices are very reasonable. If you are interested or keen to start playing board games I would recommend highly as a large selection of games and friendly help.

Jeita Restaurant

We had a delicious meal at Jeita, the owner was hospitable and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our Lebanese dishes. I would highly recommend the hummus, mixed grill and fatoush salad.

Lakeside Restaurant

This restaurant is amazing! If you’re thinking you can’t have a top class restaurant on a University campus think again….. it was some of the best food we’ve ever had and presented so well. I wish I could’ve had everything on the menu! The chefs ate very very talented and would not be out of place working on some of the top restaurants in the world. We will definitely return

The Parkway Beefeater

My daughter and I had dinner at Beefeater (Parkway, Guildford) this evening. We'd never been to a Beefeater before and were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, with really generous servings. The service was excellent - Jasmine was wonderfully attentive, helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

The Olive Tree

Enjoyed a good Sunday roast to celebrate Mother's Day. The only disappointment was that, at the end of the meal, we noticed that all the other tables were being offered a complimentary glass of bubbles for each of the Mums in the room. Unfortunately this hadn't been mentioned or offered to us when we arrived, so that left us feeling a bit overlooked!

Went here last night for my belated staff do and the service was amazing the food was gorgeous and the drinks were great! Tom and Richard served our group and their service was brilliant!

De Nada Tapas

Great atmosphere, food was good but not excellent. Only two people serving which was a struggle on a busy weekend evening. Had to wait 15 mins for our drinks order to be taken, however they were working as hard as they could. Best dish was the chorizo. Would have ordered more food and drinks but couldn’t get the attention of the waiters. Overall 3.5/5.

I recommend this petrol station. Staff is very friendly and I always come here to fill my car. One time staff gave me almost half of the scratch cards for a chance to win some good prices. Would have given 5 stars if one of those cards let me win ?

Petrol and diesel pump. Plus waitrose in the Shell petrol ⛽ pump. Nice shopping for groceries, all kinds of foods available for daily use. Fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, frozen foods as well. Food for babies, mix fruit pockets for toddler's. Also parking available, staff is very helpful. During entry you use, amazon shopping code, so you do need to swap your card. That is amazing piece of technology, if is easy to use and shop quickly.

Good to know diesel was still available yesterday evening, small queues and friendly staff. All helpful in this hour of need, despite the frenzied panic buying. Persons on the forecourt all helping each other too.

They say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. That may be true but strangely enough one can often judge a petrol station by its WC!Most four courts have the most disgusting, neglected, uncared for WC you can possibly imagine. Many would recommend washing your hands before going in as well as coming out. And that often reflects and uncaring attitude of the staff.At this site the opposite is true. The staff are present, caring and customers are made to feel valued. Such a rarity.Ok so the food and drink inside is Jolly expensive but the fuel is of a reasonable price normally.And the WC is sweet smelling and clean!

I use BP on A3 it's a hit and miss when you go to the loo on both sides ,since they stared all the road works on junction 10 on m25 to A3 also sometimes can't use your BP app on phone as can't always pick a signal up otherwise do good snacks and coffee.

I previously gave the below review with 2 stars, I have been back several times since and can say that its a good everyday pub, friendly staff and good atmosphere, will continue to call in when passing.Seems like a nice enough pub but for some strange reason they had the TV so loud it was unbearable, with speakers everywhere there was nowhere to hide, rushed my pint and left, otherwise would have stayed longer.

I couldn’t think of a better place to witness Fabian schar’s screamer against west ham. Staff are lovely (except Tom he is still learning bless him give him a chance)Everyone is friendly so you should speak to everyone especially people by the dart board they love conversation.

We had a quick pizza shared between 2 which was absolutely delicious.2 glasses of a very nice Chilean merlot.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.In fact very friendly (especially dogs)all round.

Maloncho Tandoori

We had a party of six and visited on a busy Friday evening. The staff were efficient and friendly and the food excellent and great value for central Guildford. Definitely a level above your average Indian restaurant and so much better than one we visited previously just down the road. Thank you for a great meal.

Meat the Greek

My recent visit to Meat the Greek was nothing short of spectacular. This new restaurant offers a variety of kebabs (souvlaki) that are as close to the authentic Greek taste as possible. Nando's Guildford

This is my first time at any Nando’s and it was fantastic. The service is quite possibly the best I have ever had in a sit down semi-fast food style place. Abie and Jeff were absolutely amazing. Jeff walked me through what to order with excellent suggestions. The food came extremely fast and it was delicious. I am not in the area often but I’ll definitely be back!

The Stoke Pub

Busy pub on a sunny day with with plenty of outdoor seating.Food was fine with plenty to choose from .Interia nicely decorated and comfortable.Staff were admirably friendly and efficient for such a busy day.

Caffè Nero

Great service. Forgot to mention we wanted decaf cappuccino, was willing to pay for new drink but they replaced free of charge. We went back a couple of hours later because they were so lovely.

Rumwong Thai Restaurant

Best dinner i had in a very long time.Starters were crazily good, I recommend the pork ribs and shrimp dumplings. Special mention for the battered cod, it was tender on the inside and crunchy on the outside, sauces too were amazing. I also had tofu and it was Amazing too, crispy and well seasoned.I truly loved it. Staff was very professional, and took amazing care of us. Hope to be back in Guildford soon to grab dinner there again!Vegetarian options: Only tried a delicious tofu curryKid-friendliness: They have a special menu for kids with different option, that they serve in a lovely kids plate.

Great atmosphere, good is tasty and the service is great. Food is a bit on the premium end and one for special occasions. I would recommend.Tip is to enter the premise you have to go into the car park and the elevators.

My wife and I came here 17/12/23, my wife had a burrito and tortilla chips ,I had 2 lots of tacos , a quesadilla and we both had churros ,have to say the food was fantastic tasted so fresh we both loved it the staff were great friendly and helpful, I will.come back here for sure ,cant recommend enough ?.

Three very brief visits, but I know someone who used to go there three times a week usually without fail, who loved it there and used to have a laugh with the amazing morning shift (whoever that may concern because I know shifts change about)So out of my visit and my friend's visits I can only give too marks as they were very good to him and me.Best customer service I've ever had anywhere

The pizzeria was a find on a Friday evening after being rejected by other restaurants. The fact that it opens quite late is a nice advantage.As for pizzas, mine, a vegan gamberetti leggara, was delicious! Although surprised by the void in the middle, I was ultimately satisfied.My colleagues also enjoyed their pizzas, and the choice on the menu is vast. The service was fast and quality.I highly recommend !

Undoubtedly the quality of the food is good for a burger chain. However, it is quite expensive and the burger construction is not always good (it is prone to falling apart)

For the second time in a row, these guys fed our hungry Air Cadets during our recruit training weekend. 19 portions of Fish & Chips all supplied with ketchup, plastic cutlery and everything we needed. All really hot, ready at the ordered time and yummy. Happened to walk by during my visit to Guildford and I truly enjoyed the vegan lasagne, CBD infused soda. I just wish the brownie was warm as described.I would recommend this place as they had a decent mix of food and even asked if I had any food allergies - nice.

I stopped for lunch at Franco Manca Guilford with some family recently and had a fabulous experience. The food was fantastic and fresh, and my pizza was absolutely sensational. The tiramisu was also very good. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, and the whole meal was very well priced for the quality of the food and service.If you’re looking for great pizza – there really isn’t anywhere better in Guildford town center!

Ive been going to Alex's cafe since 2014 when I worked in Guildford. My friend and I would go there most lunch breaks to get away from the office. Neither of us work in Guildford any more but often when we go for a catch up lunch we choose this venue, and it's lovely that Alex and his wife still recognise us and stop and have a chat.Great owner, great staff.

Very good sandwiches and outstanding coffee in a little covered outdoor space. Charming and friendly place just off the high street. Deserts very tempting too... Dog friendly.

itsu - Guildford

Not such a new concept now but still interesting and feels so much better than another burger or expensive sandwich joint. Self-serve ordering screens are so impersonal. But being on the corner of one of the busiest streets in Guildford, a fabulous spot to watch the world go by.

Coffee Culture

First time for a long time we went to this coffee shop in Guildford. Unfortunately we left it rather late as they were closing in 15 minutes. However, the young lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful and advised us to sit outside as that would give us more time. Toasted sandwich was fine and my wife's apple pie was very generous and must of been nice as she ate it all without offering me a taste! Next time we will go earlier so we can experience a greater choice of food.

Holroyd Arms

Attended a Birthday Party fabulous entertainment provided . Very old school atmosphere , where all the cool kids from back in the day feel at home . There was a Buffet provided by the pub , plentiful with lots of variety . One of my favorite venues for seeing live music .

It's a very good Chinese takeaway and very popular. It's extremely local to us, so even better. The only comments I'd add are that it's certainly not cheap, given you don't eat in or table service etc. And they only accept cash or cheques. They are popular enough such that they probably don't need to accept credit cards - it's not like they're going to lose a lot of business by not.The staff are very friendly, the food selection and quality is good, given it's takeaway, and they've got a very comprehensive menu.Parking: There's free street parking right outside the restaurant, and along the road in general, but can sometimes be difficult to find a parking space that's close by, but that's not usual.

Dtill the best chippy ive come across on Guildford. I first wentbhere for college dinners in 1999, and still same guy and same great chips (huge chips too), and awesome value. £2.80 for large chips!

The Bench Sports Bar

I come here regularly on a Saturday lunchtime. The bacon, broe and cranberry hot sandwiches are served all year round and are excellent. I also like the chicken wings. Lots of students, but an older crowd too. There’s always a game on the big screens too. A nice place for a Saturday lunch.

Krema Coffee

My favourite coffee spot in Guildford. I've been there a number of times and each time I have got an excellent cup of coffee and a 'pastry'. Nice to support an independent shop. Friendly service and a choice of inside and outside seating.

Christmas Bakery

Kingfish bramley

After my son's recent coeliac diagnosis I was so happy to find that Kingfish fully cater for this with multiple gluten-free options all cooked separately. We've just had GF king bites and the batter was delicious. Not only that they now have options for GF sausages, which the manager had sourced after I'd spoken to him about my son. So impressed, relieved and delighted that we still have this option in the village that my son loves! Thank you!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
