i wouldn’t recommend. while the food wasn’t bad, the waiter, upon being told that i was a vegetarian and would want a separate plate to the rest of my party, went on a ten minute tangent about how i don’t ‘fit the profile’ of a vegetarian. this is because ‘vegetarians are usually slim, and you are not’. he then went on to reiterate this a few more times in different ways, laughing despite the rest of our table was silent.as somebody who has suffered with multiple mental illnesses, including bulimia and body dysmorphia, this really made the rest of the meal very difficult to enjoy. i know i cannot expect the waiter to know my medical history, but that is the exact reason you do not say things like this. my father in law’s birthday meal, which he paid a lot of money for, was then clouded with an air of awkwardness that continued throughout the entirety of the meal.EDIT-my mother in law requested an urgent call from the owner of the restaurant regarding the situation. he was very apologetic, offered multiple avenues of reparation and assured us the issue would be dealt with internally. he also offered us a free meal, which we declined as we didn’t feel it was necessary - so we settled on them sending a sum of money to a charity of our choice. so, while it’s a shame that it happened, it was dealt with in a mature, understanding way and i don’t think it’ll stop us from returning in the future.

We ordered takeaways for Valentine's night, it was a large order & we asked it to be delivered at 6:30. The delivery was on time & the driver was very pleasant. The food was delicious, we had a varied selection & every dish was very tasty. We highly recommend The Emperor, thank you for giving us a lovely evening.

Food was really good! When we got there to pick up an order we were sat down as it wasnt ready yet and even given some prawn crackers and sauce while we waited. The staff was very friendly and kind paying a lot of attention to customers and the atmosphere was amazing with all the new years decorations. Definitely coming back here again.

Ordered takeaway . With all respect , the quality of the food is not what you would look forward to and expect . This is my opinion. The food seemed as if frozen and heated Up. We all left the food and didn’t finish it .
Little bit expensive but nice food and the most amazing service. People are so lovely!

I normally eat in but tonight I stopped for takeaway as a treat. I've never had takeaway from here before and I won't be again, I wish I'd gone to my normal takeaway. How eat in and takeaway could be so different is beyond me.
