Says it is open so after driving over found it is shut.

Best Fish and Chip shop for miles around.Excellent chips.Really like the kebab option and that the salad is served separately so it doesn't steam and go soggy.

The staff was lovely very accommodating. Had cod fish and chips, they were superb. The batter was crispy thin and very tasty highly recommend! Only there mushy peas was a bit too watery, but don’t let this put you off.

Soggy chips stuck together in greasy clods. Batter stuck to the paper when unwrapped. Fish texture hard and tasteless.Worst I've had in twenty years. Why do we put up with this?

Been in here 3 times before today and this is the 4th time I've had rubbish service. Everytime I've been in here before they've always forgotten something. Not even busy.

My favourite takeaway in Lingfield - I love the chicken kebab and the chips are lush. The chicken burger is good too. They have a good selection of food to choose from

Not for us! Won’t be returning and not fussy. Fish was horrible and tasteless not sure what it was? Was chewy!! Staff rather unfriendly and didn’t do anything to deserve that

Bought 2 lots fish and chips . The fish was ok but definitely not cod . The chips were so bad we had to put them in the bin . Not cheap either £ 18.00 . We were with a wedding party and those looking for food that evening , we told them not to bother with the chippy . Their loss . Absolute rubbish.

Bought saveloy and chips x3 and it was absolutely revolting, the saveloy was cold and had a terrible smell , had to throw it all away , complete waste of money , first time using this chip shop and sadly the last .

Used this Fish & Chip since it opened about 10 years or so. Even though I no longer live in Lingfield, still use this shop. Fish, chips and the kebabs are all excellent. Really like how kebabs are served with salad and sauces in separate pots.

Very good kebabs. Thoroughly enjoyed it

Right in the middle of the village, with some parking outside or at the petrol station opposite. The staff are polite and friendly, the interior spotless. It can get busy so it is worthwhile calling ahead and ordering you food. The menu consists of the usual fare from a chip shop as well as kebabs. They do not currently serve doner kebabs. We eat from here on a fairly regular basis and have never really been disappointed with the food. However as I say it can vary, we have had cold, greasy or under cooked chips occasionally. The size of the fish can also vary. I must say that the kebabs are very good, plenty of filling with a good choice of sauces and salad. Not bad value for money in the current climate. Overall very good, let down from excellent by the odd slip up.

Had a chicken kebab, overall it was ok but nothing that would make me return. Find it strange there is so much unnecessary plastic usage. What ever happens to fish and chips on paper, why the need for trays, sauces and salads in plastic tubs. Can’t this all be just put into the kebab ?

Worst curry sauce I've ever had. Disappointed as its my first time down here. I've had some rubbish curry sauces in my time but my gosh it was horrendous. Chips were alright I suppose, edible but the sausage and batter was tasteless. Would not go there again and only writing a review to save people time and money.

Really nice crunchy but fluffy chips. If I lived local I would make this my regular chip shop.
