Pleasant friendly atmosphere. Nice menu with a good range of pub grub at a reasonable price.

We had a late lunchtime roast on a Sunday, food was good, had roast beef, the salmon and the kids had burger and paste. All the portions were a general site and well cooked. My daughter had the burger and she said it was the best one she’s ever had, and she tells it how it is!Drink selection is good, Staff, very helpful and friendly. Nice atmosphere and a log fire makes me feel like we could/should have stayed for longer.

Thank you so much for making a stressful day yesterday so much easier, everything you said you would deliver you did with bells on , you made all of us feel very welcome, and nothing was to much trouble, the buffet was fantastic especially the cakes, a big thank you to Mike, Molly and team, ?

Enjoyable visit. Nice food, larger than it looks.More great food (pies) and a seat by the open fire. Very happy.

Supper at The Angel is fresh, tasty and piping hot. Such a lovely local pub. Landlord and Landlady Mike and Molly are so lovely and welcoming. Love our local pubs

What a great pub, food is good, really filling. But the atmosphere is great too. Open fire, good wine that doesn't break the bank, so a great local pub.

Great pub, shame the majority of the menu appears deep fried - but cooked well and tasty. Staff were attentive - excellent service. Atmosphere is friendly- thank you for hosting is!

This a true traditional small pub with no TV or loud music blasting out. A good choice on the menu. The meals themselves were hot and more that met our expectations. It had nice laid back atmosphere. The car park was little tight to manoeuvre in and out

This is now my favourite pub in Surrey. Eaten here 4 times in the last month to have a lovely homely delicious meal in this cosy traditional pub. Ecstatic to find a cheese ploughman’s on the menu too! Really great quality dining which is rare to find ! And very friendly staff! Strongly recommend!Kid-friendliness: A good variety of children’s meals and smaller plates available

A great menu . The food was excellent and service was spot on. Fairly priced. A traditional old fashioned small pub overlooking the green. Reserve a window if possible
