Angel Inn, Angel Rd, Thames DittonWe had a late lunchtime roast on a Sunday, food was good, had roast beef, the salmon and the kids had burger and paste. All the portions were a general site and well cooked. My daughter had the burger and she said it was the best one she’s ever had, and she tells it how it is!Drink selection is good, Staff, very helpful and friendly. Nice atmosphere and a log fire makes me feel like we could/should have stayed for longer.

Weston Green, Thames DittonGood bar with a good Irish pub vibe formally known as The Greyhound. Clean and friendly staff not sure if they do food but the Guinness was an 8/10. Good for sport as there are a few TVs dotted

Rishi Indian Flavours
2 Summer Rd, Thames DittonFound myself in the Thames Ditton area, in the later evening, as my local Claygate supermarket had shut earlier than usual, and I ended up in another supermarket, in this village. Had never had a takeaway from here before, so I decided to give it a go. Owner/Chef seemed a really pleasant, friendly chap, and the menu had genuine Sri Lankan and Southern Indian dishes, so I was excited to see that. Ordered a Dosai, Tikka Paneer Shaslick and a King Prawn Jalfrezi. I can confirm the food is freshly made to order, in situ, and not cooked in advance, a few hours before - it took time, but I wasn’t in any rush, so that did not bother me, and I like the slower, fresh, made to order, style. The Jalfrezi was fantastic, and the Paneer Shaslick good. Overall I really enjoyed it.
