So disappointed, staff, service and prices were absolutely terrible. Lemonade poured from a Morrisons bottle on the bar then charged a ridiculous price. Most of us had burgers, they were good, albeit a bottle of mayo just plopped on the table .. My friend had the roast beef, said it was chewy, veg was cold and she had to ask for some condiments and gravy. 4 of us were still eating our food when one staff member came over and started clearing the table, we couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t busy, a couple of other tables that’s all, yet Uncollected dirty glasses everywhere even over the bar, yet when we ordered more drinks we were told they had no large wine glasses so we had to finish ours which they washed up and then put cold drinks into warm glasses!!! When it came to pay the bill I had to wander out to the back area and call for someone as yet again they were all out the back. Then they added 12.5% service charge to the bill which I thought was disgusting for a free house. Not impressed. Very overpriced and shocking staff and service.

Items added to our breakfasts not asked for then made to pay for them all for the mistakes they made then given a service charge to top it off shameful

Friendly pub with great garden and play area in the back, but real ale was vinegar when we visited.Kid-friendliness: Great kids play area in garden.

Great find in a quaint town!It was my first time in the area, and looking for a spot for breakfast. Noticed the sign out front of Crown Inn and we thought to give it a try.The space is beautiful, our table overlooked the road. Great atmosphere and very friendly service. Quiet and comfortable. I had the jar of lovelies and smoked salmon benedict. Both tasted super fresh and perfectly prepared.Would definitely come back!

Visted the pub yesterday for Sunday lunch and received fantastic service from start to finish. The Sunday lunch was lovely and very generous portions for the reasonable price. We will definitely be back and only wish we had found the pub before the good weather left us.
