I went with my family 8 of us the Christmas dinner was the worst Christmas dinner ever had the starter needed bread as like a pate had to ask and give us one slice of bread for us all no butter the meal was disgusting chips roast potatoes mush Brussels soft carrots biggest sausage for pigs in blankets with no bacon so much gravy over dinner the Yorkshire pudding was so soggy not everyone likes gravey for £79 pounds per head at the end of the evening we had to clear our own...read full review

Came here on 16 December as part of a large of 20 for a Christmas lunch after our annual Christmas Walk. There's very little, if anything, negative I could say. The food was excellent, well presented and good value for money. The winter ale was very nice too.

We were with a large party and had a lovely meal with good service. All three courses were well presented and very tasty. The pub itself was comfy and very warm with a good selection of beers. Good value for money and we weren't rushed out but allowed to stay as long as we wanted. Thank you to the lovely staff.
