First visit here and recieved a very warm welcome. The restaurant has a lovely feel with a calm but good atmosphere. Uncomplicated menu, attentive service and absolutely delicious food served piping hot. Apparently the chef has been with them for a number of years and this showed in the quality of the dishes. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely be returning.!

Had a chicken dupiaza and pilau rice and lamb pasanda and boiled rice.Also had chips.Both meals were tasteless.So disappointed.Worst curry i have ever had.Chips were like balsa wood.Will not be using them again.

Menu seems abit limited, no fish curry,first time I've had to pay for a veg curry to go with my biryani,nearly £20 in total,be aware of that,service was good if you want to try a more exciting menu check try the Zari or Taj in crawley.

Ordered through Uber Eats but food was very late. It was stone cold. I rang the restaurant as directed by the app and I was astounded my the rudeness of the manager or owner. He said 'if you don't like our food, go somewhere else!' I could not believe it as I have been using them for 20 years ! They have gone badly downhill. My advice, go somewhere else ! A restaurant that cares ..... I will certainly never go back to the delivery or restaurant again.

Delicious food for eat in and takeaway. Top quality Indian and a local gem. Atmosphere on a Friday night is great and gets busy from 8pm onwards! Staff are very friendly and helpful.

We used to be regulars at Ruchita but have not been for some time. No specific reason just been trying other eating establishments. The restaurant has been updated and given an excellent makeover which we liked but most important, the food we had was first class. We selected a range of dishes which were all piping hot (temperature wise) with generous portions. The service was excellent and on the night we were there, it was not too busy therefore not too noisy. Having rediscovered the Ruchita we shall certainly be revisiting.

Takeaway. Fast delivery - lamb tikka main, dreadful. Bhajis okay. Dhansak sauce , lovely. The whole meal let down by the poor quailty of the meat (lamb). Won't be ordering from there again

If you’ve not been since this restaurant changed management, do. The food is delicious, the quality is high, the menu simple and sensibly priced, the cocktails and wine options are great, and it’s a smart, venue with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Nothing to fault it. Their specials are always worth a look. We took our kids there recently to tempt them into trying new foods. It went remarkably well, mainly due to everything being so tasty! Can’t wait to go again - without them to enjoy the cocktails and with them to enjoy their growing confidence.
