Redstone Hill, RedhillPopped in for a quick beer and snack. In total, I had a pint and a half of Shere drop and chips with wstercress mayonnaise. The service at the barvwas prompt and efficient. The chips were "real" chips not French fries. The beer wss excellent. The prices were reasonable.

Brighton Rd, Salfords, RedhillFood was OK, but not much of it on the plate, it probably wouldn't put me off going back, the other issue at our time of visit it was very cold and wet outside and the heating was off inside, so it was a bit uncomfortable eating with a thick winter coat on!

I cannot understand why it was so quiet when we were there my only explanation is because it was the first weekend of January. Cannot fault anything, food and service were both impeccable. We will definitely be back if we are back in the area.

Lovely open fire, they had mulled wine on the go as a seasonal treat, but the bar generally has a great selection of drinks! Staff were all friendly and efficient as it was really busy, but we weren't waiting long! The food was so nice! I've eaten there a few times and it's full of flavour! We all got given booklets with the lyrics, which was a nice touch. It was really well organised. We had a really lovely girls evening and would come back for similar events.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options and there's a few signs asking you to let staff know of any splicing dietary requirementsParking: Small free car park behind pub and if its full, there's a paid car park opposite the front entrance

15 Brighton Rd, RedhillThe Lamb Shish Kebab is unreal! I don’t know what they do, but it’s so tender and the marinade is delicious. Last time the lamb was exceptionally good, so we were worried it wouldn’t deliver the same a second time round. They did not fail to disappoint! The best kebabs I’ve had, by far. As Jeremy Clarkson would say, possibly the best Lamb Shish Kebab…. In the world! Haha.

Uncomplicated menu, attentive service and absolutely delicious food served piping hot. Apparently the chef has been with them for a number of years and this showed in the quality of the dishes. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely be returning.!

Following that, we all had the fish and chips, which were absolutely out of this world. I don't often leave reviews, but this experience was so remarkable that I felt to let the owners and their staff know, well done.The establishment was an old, higgledy-piggledy, dilapidated English pub, which I very much liked, and I generally am not fond of change. However, now some years later I have to admit, that the very changes were necessary and it still has the beautiful atmosphere that it had 17 years ago, when I first visited. This is a genuine review, and I am in no way related to the owners, staff, or clientele. Nutfield Rd, RedhillWe had a small wedding at Nutfield in February 2024 and can wholeheartedly recommend it. The venue is beautiful (our photos look great) and the food was delicious - the ribeye of beef and the sticky toffee pudding in particular. The rooms were well-appointed, and the view is fantastic from the Byron suite at the top of the tower. More importantly, the staff were exceptional. Alexandra and Caitlin were both a pleasure to work with, and they were just so helpful in planning in all the changes we needed - nothing was ever too difficult, and they made the experience of selecting the venue and planning the wedding smooth and stress-free. The kitchen was also accommodating for many different dietary requirements, which was a big help. The on-the-day wedding coordinator, Peter, was perhaps one of the most competent professionals I have ever met, and very personable to boot. It is difficult to overstate how smoothly and effectively the day progressed thanks to his coordination, responsiveness, and helpfulness. Adam and I couldn’t be happier to have chosen Nutfield Priory as our wedding venue.

The two male staff members working were so friendly and there was a good variety of food still left, which they kindly gave me a discount on. They even made me some mushy peas despite having sold out! Brilliant customer service and put a smile on my face - and the food was delicious as always. Will be back very soon!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful as well. I tried their homemade chicken curry which was delicious and flavorful. The omelette with salad were also well-prepared and very satisfying. They even offer a great kids meals. I'd recommend The Pop Inn Cafe for anyone looking for homemade comfort food in a relaxed setting.

3 London Rd, RedhillFor work I visit a lot of coffee shops in the area. This is my favourite and is a relaxed oasis in the centre of Redhill ideal for a chat and coffee or to get some work done. The coffee is cheaper than most but also better than most and the additional drinks are great. Staff (including the many volunteers) all serve you with a smile on their face and go beyond what you would expect (without being too in your face). Before the pandemic they used to do the best food but this is no longer the case which is why I can only give 4 stars.

21 Bell St, ReigateI've been using The Bell for many years, as after a walk, it's a handy spot to enjoy some excellent beers before the train. The Bell is a very cosy pub, really friendly, with a smashing back yard and they play good music. Above all though, the beer selection is fantastic, ever changing and with local beers always available! The only turn-off for me is that they've recently started closing early on Sundays, with everything over by eight o'clock. At this time of year, Pilgrim brewery is often finished by then on a Sunday, so beyond that time now, one's really hard pushed to find any beer worth drinking in the town. I can understand that on a really quiet night, paying a staff member wipes out much of the profit. In somewhere with a live in licensee though, would it really be the worst thing in the world for the landlord to be bored in their own pub for a few hours, if only as a gesture of good will to loyal customers, that enjoyed the option of a Sunday evening?!

17-21 London Rd, RedhillOk after reading previous reviews on miserable staff I can understand as of the cheap drinks prices and the standard of clientele We always stay in Travelodge opposite when flying from LGW which it our fourth time and never had an issue with the staff although looking at the clientele as stated I can see why We arrived at 1pm for a quick drink a pint of Stella and a large Pino £7.60 what value then came back at 19.30 for another drink and food Several sad faces were still drinking some SIX hours later The curries ok Break Brothers frozen ping meals like most budget chain pubs but trust me excellent value and very enjoyable No we’ve eaten in high end restaurants and paid hundreds for over priced wine and stupidly small portions but for a gut buster and cheap drinks you can’t beat a good Witherspoons Happy days to the Sun Redhill and to the smiling staff ?

The Bull's Head
Bulls Head, 55 High St, ReigateWe had lunch here on a Saturday. It’s a cosy traditional pub inside , nicely decorated with no heirs or graces. It had three real ales on tap as well as the usual array of beers. The menu is not the biggest but has a pretty decent range. The food came quickly and while it was pretty standard pub fare, it was tasty and well presented and the portions were huge. All of our main courses hovered around the £10 mark so the value was excellent too. The only member of staff was friendly and efficient , but he could have done with some help! Toilets were a little grim which was the only downside of the whole visit. If you are looking for in unflashy, traditional pub then I would recommend The Bulls Head.
