Ordered 3 carvery’s waited 50 min and absolutely disgusted and disappointed £30 wasted all food was stone cold - potatoes hard and not cooked properly and covered in white stuff - beef just full of yellow fat - vegetable hard and crunchy / gravy full of meat in it! How are you serving this ?

Potatoes were cold and burnt, Yorkshires were hard as rocks, peas & runner beans were shrivelled up and cold and waited ages ringing the bell to be served!I had chocolate fudge cake and was supposed to have warm cream but got cheap cold cream out of a can!

Great experience! Deliciously tasty, roast beef with excellent, freshly pepared cauliflower cheese and signature mashed potato with cheese, sprinkled with fried onions. Top-class, friendly and efficient service from Chef Stefan and Donna on reception! Stefan's pizzas look absolutely fab! I'll definitely be back to try one within a couple of days! Many thamks to all staff and management (including the really helpful chap with the blue t-shirt and curly hair!) for making my party's visit so special! ?Dietary restrictions: Asked about these by reception staff which was impressive.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a very handy lift to take you up to the dining floor if you need it.

We arrived and were greeted promptly. Paid for our meals and drinks and was taken straight to our table. We went to get our carvery and was greeted by two chefs who asked which meats we would like and seemed happy and welcoming. Our dinner was lovely, probably the nicest we have ever had in your establishment. We come around once every 1-2months.

First time here and wasn’t disappointed. The food was great and Nicki was fantastic. She went out of her way to help us and was fantastic can’t wait to come back.

We arrived at 18.30, party of four… I last visited a few years ago and it was a very pleasant place to eat, cosy comfortable and clean…. On arriving the entrant was full of boxes the place was empty and la med atmosphere.. the dining area was awful… we are seated at a cramped small and the I my food on offer was a dried up carvery! Collectively we secoded to leave and will bevwr go back….. very disappointing trip down memory lane!

We had my Mum's wake at the Goat back in February for 14 people. We went for the 2 course carvery.Coffee and juice was available for us when we arrived and we had Fantastic service. The Manager could not do enough for us even letting us setting up the tables the night before. Carvery was cooked to perfection. There was no rush for us to leave. Thank you so much. Absolutely brilliant value for money! We've been there multiple times for their breakfasts and carvery, which are always great. We also held a wake here for my grandmother, and they were extremely helpful and considerate to all of our needs. Highly recommend!
