5-6 of us usually meet at the Goat once a year for a get together but sadly the quality of the food has slowly declined,although reasonably priced not enough choice of meats,the vegetables were warm... it was 8pm when we ate for a pub open til 11am it's just not good enough, we'll be looking for a new venue in the future.
The chef was pleasant enough and made sure we were OK and had all we wanted, i.e., serving us meat.(We had Carvery ). As regards service, it was self-service., as you srve your self .Later on, ( chef) he asked if everything was OK which it , the was nice so was the beef thanks. Atmosphere ? It was A little quiet no background music that I could hear,possibly too low, so just myself and mother chatting and eating. It's got a long way to go, to be A 5 star place ....read full review
