A great cafe with attentive staff who provide a speedy service with a smile. The owner makes a habbit to greet everyone- a rarity these days. The food is superb, fresh ingredients and prices arent extortionate like most other cafes. Atmosphere is always lively.. consrantly buzzing - a testament to how popular this small cafe is.Eggs benedict is the go to. Surprising how many cafes get this simple dish wrong, but not here. And always ask for the chilli sauce - damn good!Just wish this place was a little bigger, but in time im sure they will open another bigger venue.

Since Limeyard is closed, this is the first place where I had an acceptable "smashed avocado on toast" in Staines.By the way, reading other reviews, please do not get rid of the hand gel as someone asks below! We spent over 2 years with covid, surprising that people still don't want to learn about the basic hygiene rules!

Was going to try this place on Sunday but reading the review by the owner saying they are looking to provide halal options then I won’t be coming. There’s enough places that provide halal, an English cafe doesn’t need to. Also have have you considered a lot of people do not agree with halal and kosher practices?

I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while. Dropped in for a Florentine Benedict and coffee. Service was good. Table was clean. Attentive and the staff tried their best to look after each customer walking in. I’m big on supporting small businesses so although the experience wasn’t perfect, I hope mgmt read this and take the feedback as constructive. Portion sizes arent all that great and other feedback here says the same. For a pound extra I’d expect two has browns not one. Prices are not as low as competitors in the area so it’s important the food reflects that. Flavors were good, food fresh and menu options were plentiful. Halal options would be nice. There’s a market for it, especially as some local businesses offer it. I would recommend for the menus to be cleaned daily as they were pretty used with stains on it (no pun intended). I’ll be back as I normally give smaller businesses more of a runway to prove themselves. I hope they establish themselves nicely and there’s a queue outside to get in because people know they’re getting quality products at fair prices. Good luck!!

One of those where "free coffee" means you have to order the coffee at the same time as the breakfast or you pay extra. It's annoying but I chose one of the options without "free coffee" so as not to lose out. Everything else expensive but wonderful.Take a large bag of money $$$$$Dietary restrictions: Very keen to oblige gluten intolerant people and they keep g.f. bread although they have a small kitchen so they were a bit paranoid about cross contamination.
