I had the mix grill box, packed with food full of flavour and a very warm welcome from the owners/workers. Sadly only a few tables in a covered area to sit down, but an amazing deliois hot lunch had here, I would highly recommend a visit to eat in or take away !!!!

The George Steakhouse
29 Windsor Road, Wraysbury, StainesI celebrated my birthday here last Saturday and had such a great experience. The food was incredible, my friends and I ordered a burger, chicken Caesar salad, and chicken schnitzel, and everything was delicious . We also had kids with us, and the menu was really accommodating with great portion sizes.
The service was fantastic and the staff were lovely throughout. I’m already looking forward to booking more celebrations here!

Food Court, 147 High St, StainesThe fried chicken reminds me of the breaded chicken KFC began with years ago. Feels nostalgic. Every time I come to staines, I always make sure to get a plate of fried chicken from here. I think this is byfar the best fried chicken I've ever had. And to top it off, they make their own sauces.

11-13 Church St, StainesWe got a really warm welcome, and the kids were given a couple of stickers to keep them busy while we waited. We ordered a veggie hot pizza, and the staff even checked if it might be too spicy for the kids. It was actually for us, but it was a really thoughtful touch and made the experience feel extra nice.

Unit T7A, Two Rivers Retail Park, Mustard Mill Rd, StainesWe made a long overdue visit to Prezzo Staines, on the 23rd January. Lovely to be recognised and greeted by such friendly smiles from Carmen and Julie, who between them made our entire return visit a real pleasure. Also a massive shout-out to the Chef who cooked me the most delicious Roast Salmon dish (now, I'm normally an out and out Prezzo pasta person, but I shall be very tempted to try this dish again, it was THAT good). Me and the other half definitely recommend a visit if you're anywhere near two rivers shopping centre in Staines.

45, Two Rivers Shopping Centre, StainesAt first when we arrived it was a bit messy and slow but Imogen who served us was an excellent waitress and worked hard to provide the best possible service even though we could see she was the only one serving. They had ran out of fajitas so I had the burger and husband had the steak. The kids had fish fingers and ribs. All of the food came out hot well presentable and delicious! I had a few cocktails too and they were really nice. Thank you Imogen for making our family meal a lovely experience!

Thames St, Staines-upon-Thames, StainesLovely staff and a stunning view of the river. Staff were amazing, I particularly remember a lady with an accent being really kind as well as a younger lady. The man who served me on the bar was also really kind and helpful.
Food was great and above average for portion sizes so definitely did not feel hungry after dinner.
Lovely wine selection.
Only negative was the chunky chips ordered with the fish were slightly undercooked however this was only a small portion of them. Fish was cooked and battered to perfection.
I ordered the beyond meat burger and chips meal and got a veggie patty instead of beyond meat, it was disappointing but the patty was okay. Just a shame they didn’t update their menu or inform customers before hand.

Inside is lovely and has a very cosy feel about it. We were seated in the Garden Room which was perfect for a party of 30. Service was impeccable and Lottie was very attentive all night, nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing and we were able to choose from a varied menu, everyone really enjoyed the evening and the prices were reasonable too. Definitely worth a visit.

3 Station Approach, StainesWe fancied a Sunday night curry: ordering was straightforward using the website (an email confirmed that our order had been received) and our food was ready for collection less than 25 minutes later. Chicken Passanda and Lamb Biryani were both extremely tasty (also with saag aloo, peshwari naan and pilau rice plus two (free) crispy poppadoms) - good value at just under £30. We're lucky to have such a good takeaway close to home, and will certainly be back for more!

I’ve tried different kebabs in Türkiye, and I can say hand on heart – to eat a delicious Turkish kebab, you don’t need to fly anywhere – you have it right here in Stanwell!
Although in places like this I usually don’t expect anything good from the fries, I have to admit that here they are tasty and properly fried.

Staff always polite and pleasant and more important than this for a KFC. The chicken is always freshly cooked and very nice. You do worry that they re heat chicken and you will suffer. BUT NOT HERE.

The Swan Hotel, Staines
The Hythe, StainesI was thoroughly impressed with my stay at The Swan. I stayed with several colleagues and everyone had wonderful things to say. The rooms were very clean, well equipped with everything you need including complimentary water, tea, coffee, milk etc. and everything was cleaned and refreshed daily. Excellent shower and water pressure and the bed was very comfortable.
I ate with my colleagues for several meals during our stay including for breakfast and dinner. The continental breakfast was really impressive with a great spread and a variety of choices. I also tried the hot breakfast (at additional cost) and the food was fresh, hot, and very tasty.
The onsite pub is also really lovely and the staff are friendly and eager to please. I was particularly impressed with how many of the staff too time to remember my name and greet me every morning. That really makes a difference.
The location is also great--within a very short walking distance to a huge super market as well as busses. Being right on the river, you get a really lovely view on the very large patio, and access to a walkable path on the river.
Couldn't recommend this place enough for anyone staying in Staines. Well worth the price charged. You won't be disappointed.
