Visited Cafe Momo for a quick snack whislt in Staines. The decor is very interesting, especially the mosaic tile pattern on the floor. Reportedly, the venue was a pet shop once upon a time! I ate the very tasty lamb Dumplings. I'd return to try something else if I was in Staines again

This place is toooo cute! I enjoyed the Japanese food but they also do some really good malay food - I liked their laksa. Their kimchi is so yummy as well! I noticed they had nasi lamak (coconut rice) on the menu too.Everything was really tasty and the service was good too. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

I ordered the tofu and aubergine noodle meal and veg dumplings take away and it's hands down the best food I've had in a while. The tofu was flavoursome, the aubergine flavoursome and just all around it was a flawless meal. An absolute gem. Eat here! Do it!

Dumpling set menu seems to be a bit stingy with the beans. Dumplings (pork and chicken) both taste very bland, miso soup was lacking salt, but when you put soy sauce in miso soup, it just tastes like soy sauce. Nasi lemak sambal was very tomatoey, not spicy at all -definitely not authentic malaysian sambal. However, I like the ambience of the cafe and the lady who served us was friendly and nice. Not sure if we picked the wrong menu, they seem to do many food from different asian region. Which cafe are they, japanese, chinese or malaysian cafe? Whether we'd go again, I guess not.
