Food is way over priced for the quality of the food.

Sitting beside the Thames river, it's amazing to have a drink. The service is fast and the food tastes good

Wonderful. Beyond the generic recognizable dishes. Wonderful service. We would go back and make it a treat if we didn't live so far away.

This was amazing food and the best garlic naan I've ever had. Finished it off with the creamiest coconut ice cream in existence. Overall, a disco for my taste buds. :)

Great decor but that's about it. The food is nice but doesn't live up to the authentic cuisine it aspires to. Excellent service. The fact that they import mussels from New Zealand gives the overall impression that they don't care about food miles or provenance.

There are quite a few Curry houses in this area but Roshni's is a cut above all of them for sure and easily rates a solid 4* I have been here more than a few times and they are consistent in everything they do. Their service is spot on and they are always checking back with you on all aspects of your scran, bless 'em. As is the Brit way, a curry is the final port of call after a few scoops so post riverside beverages at the Ship we yomped over the bridge to Roshni's and ordered up; the prerequisite Poppadoms and relishes Gosht Hydrabadi Biryani Samundari Rhaja Jhinga accompanied by sides of Saag Paneer, Onion Bhajjis, a round of Tandoori Roti and a couple of bottles of Kingfisher The Biryani & Jhinga were exquisitely spiced, the vegetable sauce was light and fruity and the Bhajjis cooked to perfection, not the usual soggy mess you find elsewhere. The only slight disappointment was the Roti which was not as soft and doughy as it should be. If you are an aficionado of things spicy then try their phenomenal Phaal. If it is too hot for you then you are just 20 yards from the river ..... Cost per head on this visit was £25. VFM for such a posh spot even if we are talking Staines! They are currently offering a 'buy 1 Main get one free' offer. Why are you still reading? Go snaffle it up !!

This restaurant has a schizophrenic personality. Some things are very good and some mediocre. Like all Indian restaurants I try for the first time, I tested it on the basics: vegetable samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala, garlic naan, rice. What I liked: 1) Chicken Tikka Masala is very good. Large portion. Very tasty sauce. The waiter tried to convince me the curry would be sweet and not what I was looking for, but it turned out to be nice and spicy. It was perfect. 2) Service - service is efficient and good. What I didn't like: 1) Vegetable Samosas are horrible. Pastry is like fried cardboard reinforced with cement. They called them Punjabi samosas, but I have had Punjabi samosas and they are not normally like this. 2) Naan is large, but it is too fluffy. Its thick, instead of being thinner and slightly crispy in the middle. You could slice the naan through the plane and make it into 2 naans - that is how thick it is. 3) The restaurant is in a basement.

We went in and didn't know anything about Indian, the waiter guaranteed we would like it, he suggested our entire meal. I had red snapper in spicy southern India sauce and we had 3 other dishes and it was perfect. They were polite, willing to change spiciness, offered background info. I loved it and will go again.

As a visitor from USA, I was just at this place on business and thoroughly enjoyed it! Location - right in Staines a few minutes off the motorway and from the Runnymeade Hotel. Parking - Hey this is the UK. You know what that means. Food - Excellent indeed. Chicken Tikka Masala was good (have to have a real non indian dish). Rogan Josh was great as well as the fish, samosas and beef. Everything that we had was very, very good indeed. Service - not bad, at all, but we were there late and I think they wanted to go home.... They "advised" us of this in the nicest way. Ambiance - Nice, clean, modern. roomy and great decor. This place is a classy place and good for large parties as well! I would come here again in a heartbeat

I like it for the food! OK the location is a bit unusual but the food never lets me down. The best Indian in the area IMHO.

Aside from wonderful Chicken Tikka Masala and a custom side dish of cauliflower prepared just for me; this restaurant is truly nice, warm and posh. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Takeout was not an issue, and while I am usually use to waiting 15-20 minutes for takeaway in the states, my meal was packed and ready to roll back to the hotel with me in like 8 minutes. Personally.... the key reason that I wanted to yelp this restaurant aside from excellent food with short wait time, they were open past 9pm. I guess this might seem odd to some but having been staying in Staines, not much is open very late. So it was nice they were open, as I wasnt in the mood for burgers, fish and chips or pizza.
