Really good food at a very reasonable price. Good quality interesting guest ales.Parking: Parking right outside the building.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome up to 21:00.Large enclosed garden at the rear, great for the little ones to burn off some energy. ?

Great pub. Realistically priced good food. Full of character and atmosphere. Highly recommended. Steak sandwich was the best I've had! Don't miss out!

Quaint and rustic village pub with excellent food, delicious desserts and very polite service. They also have a great selection of local ales and ciders.

Lovely spot. Come here before your Heathrow flight if you aren’t local.

I have been going to this pub for many years and have never got around to writing a review. The Sunday lunch here is without a doubt the BEST in Berkshire. We travel a lot and do not eat Sunday lunch anywhere else, as compared with the Perseverence everywhere is second rate. Perfect roast potatoes, home made Yorkshire pudding, 6 fresh veggies, yes 6 ! and portions to fill you to the brim. Excellent

Really good experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had their ploughman's lunch which was miles better than one we had somewhere else and cost more. Its just a pity that's its quite a distance from where we live or we would use the place more often. It has certainly encouraged us to go that way again for a walk with our dog as they are a dog friendly pub. Great. Thank you. Just the same as before but went with my dog this time. He was popular and the customers were friendly.

Food was OK to good for our group of 4. Outside area in need of a clean- then it could be very nice.

Had a brilliant day at perseverance yesterday- went with family for anniversary lunch and listen to live music. The food was superb, excellent service and very generous portions. Staff were great , there were 15 of us - they looked after us so well. Thank you
