Nice local village pub feel. Stopped for a pint and should go back and try a meal. secluded and frequented by regulars I think.

Fantastic traditional

Cosy old-school pub, open fire and comfortable seating. Recommended if you're in the mood for a quiet, tucked away

Really amazing place, hidden away from the main road, really friendly locals and staff. A very friendly terrier mix named Harriet was there who only has three legs, used to be named lucky is the rumor. Full of history, a former king met his girlfriend on the sly there, and soldiers during WW2 quenched their thirst. We walked from the train station and it was less than the 20 minutes Google maps said. Just don't talk about football!

I love this pub. It's located in the middle of the woods down a dirt track from Walton on the Hill. The beer is excellent.

This is a great pub. It’s a throwback to when pubs were places to get a decent pint and a bag of crisps and a chin wag with the guvnor. A lovely place at the end of a track. Most people call the pub The Rat. It’s a locals place but still pretty welcoming. Decent Breakspeares and Surrey Hills beer. No kids allowed. No food apart from the basics. No wifi. But masses of character. I always try to drop in whenever I am in the area.

The only real pub in the area, a public bar, a saloon bar, no children but dogs welcome. Open 4:00pm to 11:00pm Surrey Hills Shere Drop on tap and it's in good form! Bands back on occasionally, it's worthwhile keeping an eye out for the Curry evenings.

A proper public house

Utterly unique, a pub captured in time, and always worth the effort of navigating the pot-holed lane. The beer's good too.
Located in the woods. Proper pub with a rich history showing live Sports too. Interesting place to stop for a drink!

Enter a time-warp gem, great pint, roaring open fires, fab atmosphere!

Amazing friendly little pub

I get that the rule is no kids in the bar but everyone should be aware that it is an absolute ban and the kid can not even go in with you whilst you buy the drinks.I do not mean this as a negative but probably a great place to go if you want the world to return to the good old days.
