Other members of my group had the full cream tea, which all agreed was delicious. The gluten free tea was a little disappointing. Consistently good quality, always hot when delivered and never have been disappointed. Never been let down, orders are always correct and usually delivered sooner than they estimate. Chequers Ln, Walton on the Hill, TadworthThank you so much to all of the staff at the Chequers, Jo and Lilli in particular, for ensuring that my father's wake went smoothly and seamlessly.From the moment we walked into the Chequers, the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The location is fantastic, with lots of parking on site, beautiful rooms and open fires inside and wonderful outdoor space too. The food was all homemade and delicious and the Chequers team was very accommodating with all of our advance requests for food, responding promptly to any messages, and being helpful with suggestions as to the amount of food to order. They also showed a photo slideshow on their TV for us. It was helpful that so many of the arrangements could be done via email.Can't thank you all enough for taking care of everything which really helped to ease the pressure on such a difficult day for our family.

The Bell
Withybed Cor, Walton on the Hill, TadworthReally amazing place, hidden away from the main road, really friendly locals and staff. A very friendly terrier mix named Harriet was there who only has three legs, used to be named lucky is the rumor. Full of history, a former king met his girlfriend on the sly there, and soldiers during WW2 quenched their thirst. We walked from the train station and it was less than the 20 minutes Google maps said. Just don't talk about football!

They are such lovely people that run this Chinese and food is always just incredible. Beautifully prepared, quality ingredients and very healthy. Seems no oil, just all wonder flavours and so delicious!Well done to them for giving us such a wonderful local place to order really top quality, cost effective food.We are very lucky to have many amazing food outlets in Walton and Tadworth but this one is simply the best!

Boxhill Rd, TadworthGreat themed restaurant, a pleasant surprise in the area. This was our 2nd visit there and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Come hungry as the portions are sized semi American. Sadly, trying to get service was a bit difficult, however, absolutely great staff, patient and friendly once they were with us.A few selections of plant based options as well as the ability to make a lot of the menu gluten free if needed was a lovely bonus.Dietary restrictions: They have around 5-10 vegan options. 2 main burgers, both of which were good. Vegan nachos were not bad.Parking: If it's busy, parking can be a wait till someone leaves scenario when they are really busy. Also, the parking lot layout is a bit tight but manageable.

There's a car wash, air and water services, an M&S and a Wild Bean Cafe, that sell a wide range of products such as flowers, cards, magazines, normal shopping goods and pastries etc. The breakfast meal deal is fantastically priced too!

We will definitely return. One point for improvement was that the vegetarian roast option was lacking, the flavours didn't really match a roast dinner but it tasted good as an independent item.Vegetarian options: Has a few veggie options, the roast option was nice but didn't go well with the flavours of a roast dinner and there was no gravy.Parking: Has a car park for approx 25 but there is street parking nearby tooKid-friendliness: Very child friendly location with a great garden with play equipment

It's a quaint little building as well, situated on the railway bridge, so if you have kids they'll probably enjoy seeing the station etc. The menu is pretty standard for a chippy although it would be nice to see some more dessert style options on there (fritters for example!)Kid-friendliness: They have kids options that includes chips in the price and come with more kid friendly nuggets etc

Brighton Road, TadworthThis is a small petrol station with an expected small ship inside. There are air and water facilities next to the building and plenty of space for all sorts of vehicles. Prices here aren't too bad and seem to almost always be better than the BP garage 1 minutes away. Staff are satisfactory and you can pay using the mobile app which is MUCH easier and a lot quicker when paying for fuel. I strongly recommend using the app as it can be used across all Shell stations.
