Found myself in the Thames Ditton area, in the later evening, as my local Claygate supermarket had shut earlier than usual, and I ended up in another supermarket, in this village. Had never had a takeaway from here before, so I decided to give it a go. Owner/Chef seemed a really pleasant, friendly chap, and the menu had genuine Sri Lankan and Southern Indian dishes, so I was excited to see that. I discovered this little gem of a restaurant after frequently dining at Spice House In Tolworth and I have to say this is my NEW favourite in the area. Chef Thanga is an esteemed and well respected international chef who has worked at some of the most prestigious hotels in the world and every dish he makes is made with love. Very friendly and knowledgeable chef. Always tasty food. Good range of dishes. Head chef gave me some medicinal soups when I felt unwell during lockdown which made me feel better. Thank you Thanga
