Ye Olde Swan is a beautiful and historic pub on the banks of the Thames. It has great views of the river and Thames Ditton island. The team who run the pub are great - unlike many other pubs in the area, the Swan has a dedicated team who really care about the business and the customers. As an example, here's Adam the landlord scrubbing the riverside deck in time for summer drinks! Highly recommended.

Lovely Chinese restaurant, we get delivered 'quite often', amazing value, kids love it, fast and always delicious. Kids love the chicken balls, I love the crispy shredded beef, I can't get enough of it. When we eat in, really good service.

Indian Summer

Found myself in the Thames Ditton area, in the later evening, as my local Claygate supermarket had shut earlier than usual, and I ended up in another supermarket, in this village. Had never had a takeaway from here before, so I decided to give it a go. Owner/Chef seemed a really pleasant, friendly chap, and the menu had genuine Sri Lankan and Southern Indian dishes, so I was excited to see that. Ordered a Dosai, Tikka Paneer Shaslick and a King Prawn Jalfrezi. I can confirm the food is freshly made to order, in situ, and not cooked in advance, a few hours before - it took time, but I wasn’t in any rush, so that did not bother me, and I like the slower, fresh, made to order, style. The Jalfrezi was fantastic, and the Paneer Shaslick good. Overall I really enjoyed it.
