I was on my way to a nearby cafe for a quick bite and coffee when suddenly thought I should better go to this cafe suggested by my friends. I turned around and headed to Armadillo in Virginia Water. Greeted by the lovely staff who were very pleasant. Asked for the wifi and they gave straight away, saying it may be temperamental but worked well. Ordered a double macchiato and spinach and feta omlette. Absolutely loved tbe food, tasty and fresh. You can actually smell the cookies made freshly on site - I was even offered one to try. Oh my, i was expecting a small thing, what I got was a cake plate site but delicious. My friends, who suggested this gorgeous little place, recommended their Scotch eggs which are out ot this world. If you are visiting this gem of a place which I highly recommend - you must (i mean “must”) try their Scotch eggs and you will understand what I mean. Needless to say, I will return to Armadillo - sooner than I expected.

Very disappointed with food and service there wos 2 of us the food come out different time had full English beans were stone cold bacon wos burnt didn't get ask if I wonted scrambled poached or fried egg scrambled egg wos rubbery bounce of the wall land bk on plate left out hash brown only gd thing wos tea left most of it very poor will not be going bk
I had a brunch here on a weekday morning. I ordered scrambled eggs on toasted sourdough bread and a flat white coffee to eat in.The cafe was a little busy at the time but there was still free tables inside. I chose to sit outside as it was such warm weather.While waiting for my food the lady who took my order came out to ask what drink I wanted, so I repeated my order for her.After just over ten minutes my food arrived and strangely I was asked again if I wanted a drink with it. I repeated the answer and then was brought the coffee.Both food and coffee were very good. The bill came to £7.15 ; not unreasonable.The shop is accessible to all although maybe you’d need to do a bit of manoeuvring with a wheelchair or buggy once inside.There is a spacious customer toilet available towards the back too.Apart from the drink order anomaly I liked the experience and would go again when in the area.
