Great food but a little pricey.

Good service and atmosphere and the food was good too. I'll avoid the benches next time- they are uncomfortable!

It's very rare for a restaurant to live up to its own web site and advertising but this one surpassed itself. The food would grace any restaurant anywhere perfectly cooked, flavoured and presented. The staff and service are simply perfect. The setting is amazing as is the old world cosy atmosphere, once you're inside you won't want to leave. All in all this is a rare gem.

Sunday lunch at Botley Hill has become a bit of a treat for the family so it was doubly disappointing today to experience a significant drop in food quality and quantity! The Sunday beef Roast was £24 and all we got was a single small roast potato cut in two halves and two thin slices of beef! Not really an honest Sunday Roast! The chips that were served with fish and chips were not cooked well! Burnt on outside and hard on inside! Will not be rushing back! Don’t mind paying a high price but it has to be good value! I don’t like to be mocked!!

It's so good, it's best to book.Easy parking, a warm welcome, excellent service and pets are also encouraged.Parking: Convenient disabled parking, foot and wheelchair surface, well lit during the hours of darkness.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space for push chairs.

Service was good, Roast beef was a bit meh, gravy like syrup and rest of it was just lacking.
