Had lunch with my nephew and his wife plus 14 month old son. Food, staff and venue absolutely outstanding, couldn't fault anything - was my fourth visit, easily the best.And as a bonus, many thanks to Biggin Hill for arranging one of their Spitfires to fly overhead as we were leaving, brilliant end to a perfect lunch.
Great traditional old building which is part of the charm of this placeFood was excellent, mains being fiish and chips, burgers and the pie of day which was chicken and some how we even all had desserts cheese cake and oh wow the crumble and custard was delicious.We sat inside but loads of sitting outside which must be quite a nice place to chill in the summer nights, when the wind ain't blowing a gale like when we were there ??♂️Topped of with coffee served with those...read full review

Very tasty food and enough selection on the menu. Those serving us where attentive to my parties needs and pleasant in their demeanor. The only thing lacking was atmosphere. I just felt there was something missing. All in all I wouldn't hesitate from returning there again in the future.
