Wouldn’t even like to give this 1star but unfortunately you cannot review without choosing a star rating.Experienced what can only be racial discrimination in this store today. I was followed by a member of staff down every single aisle I walked down. There were other shoppers in store, who were not of afro/Caribbean descent, who were not followed. I complained about this when I went to complete my purchase at the till, to a member of staff named Suresh. I stated that I had been followed by a member of staff as soon as I entered and I was treated differently to other shoppers in the store. He did not respond, instead he smirked and asked me for payment.Very disappointed that Waitrose would have their products stocked in a shell branch that treat paying customers like this and will definitely not be shopping there again.

Food prices are mostly extortionate. It's double to triple what you'd normally pay. Even when an item is due to expire and on a reduced price, it's still above RRP.

Not happy with this shell garage every time buy drinks and fuel try use toilet facilities it s out of order and blocked by food trolley! Complained and asked why is it closed lady at behind counter got no answer or response all I get smirking!! Very dissappointed!!

If I can, I would give zero stars. Don’t expect any customer service here. I went there many times to buy some little things and I also fill up the car for petrol there as well. Today I can’t accept it anymore and decided to write it down. 1. when I bought cigarettes there, a young guy asked me to show ID with a gesture and didn’t even tell me by speaking to me. No hi. No bye. 2. Once I filled up the petrol in the night and I was waiting for ages, because nobody was in reception and there was no apology 3. I bought food in the shop today, and a lady who looks to be in her 40s served me. She was very rude and I gave the food to her hand and she didn’t hand it back to me. I had to get it through the window. I said bye, have a good day. She didn’t even reply and looked very angry with me for no reason. 4. Once i paid and they give me change back, the coins fell on the floor. I picked it up. And they didn’t apologize to me. Now I have decided that I won’t get anything from this station. I am not treated as customer there, it feels like I owe them money. I suggest you avoid this place because you all deserve respect.

Unfortunately I am not a happy customer. On a few occasions now I have seen a so called deal but been charged full price! I can see how shell have recorded such high profits..M

Manager call Diane very rude and unhelpful, I fill up my van tank and went to pay the bills,mean time someone hit van at the back bumper and rear light, runaway and manager lady saw the footage but she told my insurance company she won’t be witness , finally police got original footage from Shell headquarters, Shell headquarters was very helpful

Filled up here during the fuel crisis. All 8 pumps were open and all fuels available.Nice clean station with a great shop. Staff were very helpful.I will definitely fill up here more often over the franchise pumps in and around Purley/Coulsdon.

On Sunday 18th in the evening I visited this petrol station, nice layout, clean forecourt but the customer service from the person behind the counter was very awful and atrocious and I will definitely not be returning. Not sure his name I didn't see a name badge but he was young lad wearing long sleeve orange and red shell top, he didn't welcome me politely, when I came in he was eating and was on his mobile phone. His attitude was very lousy and I didn't feel good after this visit.
