A small but extremely character-filled place with some seriously, seriously good drinks. We called in at the end of a long walk, and couldn't have asked for a better finale - though I also want to come back when there is time to relax more and try a few more things. The ciders here were some of the best I've had in a long long time - still, rich and powerful. The atmosphere of the place was also fantastic.
Always a great atmosphere and selection of beers. Stay all night or visit for pre-dinner (curry) drinks.Parking: Local car park just up the road...although get there early as it can fill quickly

Great pub! Very friendly community spirt. Great choice of ever changing beers (both cask & mini keg) ciders, also gins & wine. Won loads of awards & is always in The Good Beer Guide. Interior largely decorated by regular customers
