Really loved this pub. Had lunch on Friday and then went back for drinks on Sat night. Our favourite pub in Richmond. Recommend the fish finger sandwich lunch with a pint of proper job.

Cozy and warm, with the fireplace on. The food, drinks and service were great.

Great Pub, very nice atmosphere and the staff is quick, friendly and super chill.Fish and Chips were out of this world!Chips were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the fish was just perfect. Will definitely come and dine again.

First and last visit. The pub is nice. The food is good. So is the Guinness. We ate upstairs on a not too busy Sunday afternoon, and the service was as bad as I can ever remember getting. Sat for twenty minutes before having to ask for a menu and a drink. Longer to order food. Long wait for food to arrive. Had to seek out a waitress to get a bill. Thankfully, the service charge is discretionary, or I was having it removed, which I can only recall doing once before. Unfortunately, our waitress then had to watch while I selected the 0 tip on the card machine. At that point, her colleague standing behind made sure my injury was insulted by groaning out loud for all to hear.Pity.One final point. I am a dog lover and very happy to have them in bars and even restaurants. Sitting on a dining chair, licking food off the table whilst being petted by a waitress however is questionable. Not recommended.

The salmon dish just tastes like lemon juice. They offered to remake the meal and all they had done, was drain the lemon juice and gave the same piece of salmon back... Staff were courteous about the issue but we will not return and do not recommend for food - very mediocre.

A decent pub, service was a little lacking compared to their peers. Beer selection was fine. Nothing overly wrong here just others do it better. Very, very busy

We maybe were unlucky today it was very busy but we ordered haddock and chips - we waited over an hour for it to be served and when it came it really didn’t taste very good. My husband ate a lot of his but I left most of mine. The lady collecting the plates seemed to avoid us even though ours were put aside I felt she was worried we might complain. We have been before and it has been good but sadly this time not the case.

Writing this on the basis that is was a freezing day, I was cold and very hungry. Ordered the beef pie. Actually very nice barring the one lump of nasty gristle. Overall good. As was the cabbage. Two things let this down. The mash potato had never been introduced to any butter or any other moisture for that matter. Lumpy and dry as. Yuck. Extracted a lump as big as my thumb. Nasty. What was even worse was the gravy if you can call it that. Warm water with things floating in it. See photo. Bad, thin gravy which ruined the whole meal. Try adding colour, thickening and flavour. Shame. Pie was good, service excellent.

Great place to go if you want a lively environment. Great choice of drinks and food. My friend and I went on a Saturday and it was very busy. Would recommend pre-booking which we did. There was a get together near the dinning area so a bit loud but the overall we had a nice experience. Table service was fast and on time. The staff are very friendly and open. Would recommend going there often when you don’t want to look through too much menu and just want something more that the standard franchise meal. Ideal for a catch-up or small get together.

Great pub, awesome vibes and plenty of room - food was good but anything with gravy I would have on the side as it’s quite salty. Otherwise really lovely and actually surprisingly quick service on drinks food etc.even when very busy! Good spot after a long walk and very cozy.Vegetarian options: Two or three options for veggies thumbs up

Old Ship in Richmond, London, gets a solid 5 stars from me! This pub has a warm and welcoming vibe. The food is tasty, and the service is friendly. It's a great spot to unwind with good company. Whether you're after a delicious meal or just a casual drink, Old Ship delivers a top-notch experience. Definitely a local favorite!

By far the worst roast I’ve ever had, waiters were lovely but the roast was terrible. You can see from the photo how poor the meal was. if you want food go elsewhere. Drinks were nice. Also had mac and cheese which was actually maccaroni and oil with burnt cheese.
