Had a really lovely family meal for four adults and two children. We booked the table in advance. Children's menu available. Lovely Sunday Roast with trimmings. Beautiful deserts and coffees. Service was excellent and very friendly. We sat and talked a lot, took as much time as we wanted. We weren't rushed in any way. Would recommend this pub to anyone wanting a nice, friendly place to eat with good food and a nice atmosphere. Also there is good space outside for when the weather is a bit warmer

Never enough bar staff early on a Friday evening.Often go in here 5-7pm, it's usually really busy but they only have one member of the team behind the bar. If someone orders cocktails you'll be waiting a long time.The food is good but very very expensive for what you get, two people eating just mains, one beer and a coke on a Sunday and it'll be around £55-£60.

The food was fantastic- the dirty burger was amazing! The waiting staff were so helpful and attentive- especially Elliot who went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful evening! This is definitely going to be my new local :)

The food very good this time round as my last experience from before lockdown times wasn't a great one. A lot has changed since i would recommend a visit for dinner. The service was altogether very good just when it came to settle the bill it took a little to long for my liking.

Fish and chips looked very pale and undercooked. A drink was knocked over by the server, splashing a two year old who looked very shocked. No replacement drink was offered. We decided against staying for dessert.

Really nice food. Delightful staff. Could be a bit quicker on the service, but we was in no hurry.It is expensive, but reasonable value for money.Beautiful building with lovely fire place. Great atmosphere.Lots of parking and nice external grounds.
