Amazing place. Food was absolutely lovely, especially the pork and the spuds. We had a big table of about 20 booked, and still the food came out sharply. The staff were very attentive, particularly the young blonde waitress who served our half of the table. As a worker in hospitality myself, I know the pressures and chaos that can come with serving a massive table like ours today, but she seemed unphased by it, very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to talk to us. First time at this lovely country pub.A booking for a surprise birthday party of 14 adults.The overall experience was brilliant.All the waitresses could not have been more helpful. (Thank you to Eleanor, Kaileigh, Maya & Nicole). And Alexie for my booking and helping me make the evening special.We all thoroughly enjoyed the pub, atmosphere & the food was delicious, in fact we are booked to go back again.

Visited on Sunday 10th for Mothers Day with Family. Laura and Her Team have totally turned around this pub over the last few years, Now, Great attentative Service, more welcoming atmosphere, but most of all, the Food, sooooooo much better, Sunday Roast especially, tastier, better quality, better presentation, but still Great value for money. WELL DONE ?? TEAM ROYAL OAK, keep up the Great Work, its definitely paying off, We will be returning ?? ☆☆☆☆☆

Attended today (Tuesday)for the bumps and babies offer. Parents get a free hot drink and there is a playmat and toys for the babies. I was really happy with the space we had and it's a great opportunity for mums/dads to have a chat while babies sleep or play. I stayed for lunch (Caesar salad and chips) which was very nice and reasonably priced. I'll definitely be returning. ThanksKid-friendliness: See above

Calm and chilled atmosphere in a beautiful country pub well kept and clean. Service was super kind and professional and the food was delicious. Table of 7 had a variety from the menu and we were all pleased.
