Food was really slow to arrive, over cooked and over priced. Severe lack of communication over the kids meal option when paying and wanted to charge the kids desert when it came as part of the meal. Basically paid over £5 for a dry burger and chips for a child. The adult dishes were small and dry. With three drinks (50% ice) it was over £40

A good enough place to go if you need a drink or nibbles. The food has gone downhill since the pandemic but the service was brilliant. The drinks are very reasonable too.

Food was cold and came after a looong wait during absolutely non busy hours, at lunch, on a weekday. So decide if u wanna go. I’d say No No.The staff was good though, offered a full refund but no-one wants a refund, just good food.

I'm sorry to say that the majority of food came out cold without the sauces and dips they were supposed to come with. We waited a long time to receive our orders, we had to ask for our drinks after we received our food as they were forgotten about. I was given the wrong drink, but what I received was nice and well made.Looking at the numbers of staff, I believe they were understaffed so I can understand it wasn't possible to give us 100% of the usual service quality. We were, though, one of only roughly two tables eating food from what I could see.On a side note, my 5ft 4" self and others struggled to sit at our reserved table as the stool seats were too high and we couldn't put our feet on anything to stop us from sliding off. We thought we'd harrased the staff enough, so we just put up with it until we finished our food and moved.I would come back here for drinks but not for food.

We sadly had the misfortune to visit the Slug and Lettuce in Woking with some friends. Having travelled some distance to meet our friends who had previously visited the Slug and Lettuce and had enjoyed their experience, we all agreed that it was the worst experience ever on this occasion. The menu well can’t call it a menu really half of the mains menu was not available, one of our party almost gave up - when ordering the staff didn’t indicate half the menu was not available rather let us trawl through - even the festive food was out of stock - no burgers, no curries - ridiculous. Still we ordered to then be told there was a 30 minute wait - hardly busy - but we waited used the time to catch up with our friends - it was cold in the Slug and Lettuce - coats ended up being put back on - the food when it did arrive was like warm - we ate it out of desperation - the only plus was the courteous waitress who seemed to be the only one working - will we return probably not.

Popped in here for a few drinks after a show and had a great time and the drinks are not to badly priced to be fair. Good music and me and the Mrs enjoyed our visit.
Bottomless brunch was great, good choice of food and drinks and Paris couldn't be more attentive, another drink before the last was finished and constantly checking to make sure we had everything!

Unfortunately we sat down for dinner at S&L on the same day as a rail incident which impacted staff availability. This meant delays to our food which wasn't communicated until the manager came in on his day off.Thanks to the manager for his support. Food was nice just the initial service was very slow.

I have visited a few establishments like this, but this one takes the prize! Really nice vibe in there, staff was welcoming and the food was yum! Me and my besties went there expecting to have a few drinks and then move on but we end up staying all night! It was great! Will recommend ❤️
