We have dined here 5 times now, lunch and dinner. The experience is phenomenal every time! The service is top notch. The host has been there for years and he’s friendly and knowledgeable. The food is fresh and delicious every time. Best gin and tonics. One of our all time favorite restaurants!!

We have had the pleasure of experiencing many tasting menus from around the country. Petrus in London and Tare in Bristol which were both exceptional. Sadly The Clock House tasting menu lacked flavour, finesse and the wow factor of a tasting menu. For the price we expected better.

Another excellent meal at The Clockhouse! We usually have the dinner time tasting menu so lunch was a bit of a change but equally as good. The only downside was another guest glaring at our 3 teens, who were impeccably behaved and have eaten here numerous times before without any derision. We won’t be put off.

There is no a la carte menu so one gas to choose the expensive tasting menu. My partner didn't like anything from the tasting menu so asked for the vegetarian tasting menu. My meal was probably the worst I have ever had, nothing at all memorable except a tiny piece of halibut the size of my thumb which was over cooked. All in all very disappointing.

Came for lunch on Saturday after visiting two years ago and had the most wonderful experience. Not only is the food imaginative, seasonal, beautifully presented and delicious, but the staff are just wonderful. The service is perfectly attentive without being overbearing, everyone seems happy to be there and it is reflected in the whole atmosphere. I can’t wait to visit again.

Phenomenal food and service. Each course was carefully curated and an interesting surprise of favours. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating which made our anniversary meal extra special. Certainly for special occasions, as the price indicates, a true dining experience.
We went last night for our anniversary. Can’t fault any aspect, it was a lovely experience and the food was incredible. Best dining experience we’ve had in years!!

Bad service seems this is quite common review, worth preserving the menu it is very well served and really good specially to try many real good dishes, good quality, ok ambiance. For an upscale restaurant they should not push people to leave the table after 1.5 hour and rush the menu etc. was hard to order a drink. Improve the service and this can become the best place as that ruined our dinner
