This is a firm favourite of ours when visiting Woking, which we usually do on a Sunday. The roasts are delicious and come with a good selection of veg. We always order the ice cream sundae for dessert. Can't fault.

The red lion is a gem. I wish I'd taken photos of my food as all dishes had something a little extra. My girlfriend are adding the red lion to our favourites list for our area. We ordered 3 starters and 2 mains. The croquettes were great and a real warmer, squid and prawns delicious and pate for a starter and for mains, duck leg and a sandwich. No negative feedback at all. The staff were very friendly as well. Plenty of parking even at the weekend.

Had a family & friends gathering with a buffet. All the food was excellent, freshly cooked, out the oven & brought to the tables hot. Lovely large sliced sausage roll. Very tasty sandwiches. The desserts were excellent especially the sliced scones with jam & cream. Lovely staff, very attentive. Thank you, definitely not your average buffet, exceeded expectations. Happy to highly recommend.Parking: Generous car park, no problems.
