Had a vegetarian Sunday roast it was absolutely awful. I waited a long time for the food. When the food did finally arrive I seen the the Burnt potatoes the veg burger they put on the plate was so cold I had a small bite it was so cold like it came out the fridge. After telling them they took the plate and returned within 3 min with the same plate microwaved. Never again. Still ended up paying £15 for the veg roast no apologies from the manager. Rubbish roast.

Kid-friendliness: There's a wooden climbing frame and swings in the garden

The staff were really nice and friendly however, for the cost of the roast dinner was most disappointed. Was expecting a chicken breast or decent fillet but what came out was about a tablespoon of carved chicken that looked as of it had been peeled off the bone with a fork. Had 3x slices of carrots, anaemic looking veg and very non roasted potatoes. Someone in the group had roast pork which looked a lot nicer however the crackling was not crackled and would need a chainsaw to get through it. 5 of us ate there and 5 of us vowed to never eat there again. It was OK but nothing at all special and certainly not worth the money it cost in my opinion. The staff were really lovely tho on the upside.

The food was reasonably priced but quality wasn’t good cheese onion toasted sarnie limp a no filling mentioned to them a they replaced but was terrible a soggy a heard someone say put a whole onion in it! From round the corner .!!tuna sarnie more mayo than tuna running out all over the place was put on hot plate so that didn’t help ! crisps were hot ! so we won’t be going back again and wouldn’t recommend which is a shame as it’s local to us all and we were looking for a local on a regular basis .

Never visited before as on a busy road but wandered down for a lunchtime pint and something to eat. Clearly dog friendly as the odour hits you on entry, a miserable welcome, a £5 pint and no food on a weekday. Enjoy…..

Yeah it's a nice local pub. Dog friendly. Decent garden. Typical sort of beers. Friendly staff.
