I wish I could give a lower review! Dined here on the 23rd October after a spontaneous decision to try this local restaurant. What came after was a heavy wave of regret! The service was poor despite the initial friendly greeting, which was shocking given the fact that my partner and I were the only ones who were guests at the time. The starters we had - hummus kurvuna and grilled Turkish sausage were fine but the main courses we ordered - mixed lamb and chicken grill was awful, super disappointing and just gross. The lamb tasted totally rotten and not fresh at all. We stopped eating it and after waiting for more than 15 mins for someone to check in on us, I explained our disappointment with the dishes. The pathetic reply we received was that they were indeed fresh, which was obviously a lie. When asked why no one bothered to come and check in on our food, we were given another pathetic response "we don't bother customers and wait for them to tell us if there is an issue". The basics of customer service requires that you are literally providing a service. We didn't pay the service charge and 1 main dish was removed. Please avoid this awful place and save your money. We will definitely not return and have already informed friends and family locally to avoid it.

Ana was so lovely and welcoming and made our meal at ihlara such a lovely experience. Thank you the food was beautiful, restaurant bright and so friendly. We ordered far too much and it was no problem for Ana to allow us to take the rest home with us, so we will have a lovely lunch too ?

We visited from East London where we are spoilt for choice when it comes to Turkish food, and I have eaten in listerally dozens of Turkish restaurants. I have to say the food here was one of the best I have had. Meat was soft and not over cooked. Delicious food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Would

I was really disappointed with the service and the food. The meat was raw and smelly. Not really worth the £90 I paid. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they improve.

It was one of the best meals ever! I’m very critic about lamb since I’m Portuguese! honestly it was one of the best meals I’ve ever tried!! Ana was very kind, friendly and gave us very good recommendations about the food and the wine! Definitely will get back!!

One of Woking’s gems, always friendly staff, well presented and delicious food, quiet at lunchtime so easily walk in without booking. Family friendly and disabled friendly too.

Booked for dinner before theatre. Food was quite disappointing and the service more so.When ordering starters which requires bread, we had to ask 3 times and waited over 30 mins. By the time it arrived, mains were finished.Waitress and manager wanted more to argue about how busy they were, rather than to just accept that the bread should have been served with the starter (hummus, etc) rather than 30 mins later and make an apology with offer of some sort of putting things right.Definitely wouldn't return based on the food, rather than what hopefully was an unusual occurrence in regards the service. The interior was lovely and a nice atmosphere however.

We stumbled across this Restaurant in a side street in Woking. It stood out with a very slick shop front and we decided to give it a try. A pavement board offered a Mezze + Main course for £12.99 but it turned out this is a Monday - Thursday offer and this was a Saturday. We stayed anyway and ordered a couple of lamb dishes, sharing a tomato, mozzarella & avocado salad. and each having a Becks alcohol-free beer. This came with complementary bread & dips, water and Turkish tea and came to £50. The food was well-cooked and the staff very attentive. WSe woulkd definitely go ahead - maybe on a week-day...
