Have frequented the White Hart many times over the years.Went to the remodelling (pre launch) lunch event following the recent refurbishment . A warm welcome, beautiful decor, cosy and comfortable, with original features retained but smartened up. Viewing the garden outside there are many more tables and shades (I think with heating) which will be popular too.Attentive, friendly staff (thank you Abbie for serving us). Good menu and wine choice. We enjoyed a complementary shared baked Camembert starter followed by perfectly cooked, tender medium rare Chateaubriand main and fresh vegetable side. All beautifully presented and cooked, hot, tasty, delicious. We chose the luxury ice creams for a light dessert, followed by good coffee.Thank you for a really great lunch in such an inviting upgraded setting. Festive menu looks very appealing.Full compliments to the chef, management and staff. Look forward to returning soon.

Wonderful evening having dinner and drinks here with the other half!The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much of an ask.The menu was full of delectable choices - hard to pick almost.The dirty burger was probably the best burger that I've ever had. The beef dripping sauce was just incredible with it. It was loaded and so tasty but actually pretty light on the stomach!100% recommend.The cocktails were superb ?? my favourite being the chocolate martini Such a lovely pub in the lovely village of Pirbright. Will be returning!(Sadly no photos of the main because I forgot to take the photo and then there was nothing left. ?)

Meal was very strange at best… belly pork, beef dripping gravy, sweet & sour vegetables with pineapple and what tasted like old dauphinoise potatoes… not sure what to say about it really - not terrible, not good, just very strange. Don’t think I’ll be eating there again in a hurry!

Went in for a Sunday roast, once seated we were completely forgotten about and had to get waiters attention to order after 20 minutes. (Upon arrival we were warned by another couple that we would be forgotten about so obviously a regular occurence and lack of customer service) Once ordered the food came out and drinks never came, found that we were charged twice for the drinks as the first lot never came. The food.... the roast dinner was awful, the chicken was dry, the cracking and yorkshire pudding needed a hammer and chisel, the green vegetables were still raw, roast potatoes were hard and the cauliflower cheese was quite clearly cheap and frozen and was disgusting. Will not be returning!

Appalling service.We were NOT asked about food allergies and had to leave the entire dish due to the presence of peppers.We had to wait a very long time and then couldn't get a drink at the table despite at least four attempts to try and get a member of staff.Staff were a freak show.A great shame for a nice area.

Came here for a family meal and it was gorgeous! The food was yummy, ended up having 3 course meal even though I am usually a 2 course kinda person but couldn’t help it the food was that good. Had fantastic service from Jaycee too who always had a smile on her face, very precessional and knew what to do about one of our party’s allergies. Polite yet, funny too! Will definitely return :)

Went last Sunday for a family meal with my wife and two kids. Was served by Matt who was absolutely lovely and was very friendly to the kids. The food was a really high standard too and was very quick. Will definitely be returning!

It’s very rare that I feel the need to write a negative review however, I am shocked by our experience whilst dining here this Fathers Day. Our table was booked at 12:45, our drinks took a fairly long time to arrive then our starters finally turned up at 13:45. One hours wait is fairly annoying… but something I can easily overlook with nothing more than an eye roll. By 14:45 our mains still hadn’t arrived so my sister in law politely asked one of the staff members how much longer we’d be waiting as we’d been sat for 2 hours. Before we knew it a seemingly irritated greek man who we assumed to be in charge came over to the table announced to us we hadn’t been waiting for 2 hours at all, only for 45 minutes and that’s a reasonable amount of time to be waiting... Reading between the lines he wanted us to shut up and just continue waiting. He was rude and abrupt and that is not how I expect to be treated as a paying customer. To finish off the meal, 4 hours after we had arrived the bill came to the table with an additional £115 worth of food we hadn’t eaten nor ordered. It’s a good job we checked!The food was mediocre, the staff were nice apart from the one rude man and the wait between courses was ludicrous. Before you ask us to give you the opportunity to do better by visiting again… no thanks, we wont bother. My plea to anybody reading this, triple check your bill before paying.

Just had a perfect evening in this lovely pub. The food was delicious, the cocktails were gorgeous and the servers were friendly. Special mention for our server Jo, who was absolutely lovely. She clearly enjoys her work and not only made great recommendations, but also introduced me to a new cocktail. ?
we visited on Sunday for a family lunch the roast was delicious and the service very attentive from the lovely waitress we all left the pub very satisfied we will be back

Came here for some food and drinks with my partner. Food was lovely and drinks were extraordinary. The service that we received from Jo was the best I've seen in a long time! She was super attentive and full of energy, she made our night so much better, will definitely be coming back to see her again ☺️. Definitely a massive asset to the team!
