Just got chips and gravy £3.20 (take away) noticed price has gone up, there was hardly any chips, so price gone up and chips gone down. Not worth the price was still hungry after eating them. Won't be going again.

Went at 12.25 today only to be told (as have other times before) that they are sold out of chicken/sweetcorn sandwich filling..really..by 12.25 at the start of lunchtime trade!! Then got baked potatoe with Tune. Tuna portion was so small for my 3 year old I went back to ask to pay for another portion of tune. The manager/one of the owners impolite told me I'd have to buy another full meal and discard what we didn't want. Not customer centric or helpful and delivered in a very bad attitude and manner. Really!!! They couldn't let us buy a portion of tuna fir my little one???? Disgusting. Most places would look to maximise profit and look at providing more of what the customer prefers not discount their very fair request!!!! What a customer policy to have and this from 1 of the owners!! Also why are there toilets PERMANENTLY STILL CLOSED SO YOU HAVE TO WALK ALONG THE MALL THE THEUR TOILETS!

You get what you pay for, have a stupid rule against letting you drink cans of pop in the cafe without pouring it out as if we are children, insist on pouring it into a cup to drink it.

Very rude staff. Shouting at a disabled lady today who was obviously unwell. Tell her to get food first before sitting. Lots of free tables . Lots of the public were shocked and disgusted at the two members of floor staff. They behaved like bully s . Tried to email company rather than review but address not

I've been coming to Cookery Nook for nigh on 20 odd years and my latest visit today will be my last.Firstly getting shouted at by the woman serving- what do you want? When I didn't reply immediately she shouted it again louder - give me more than a few seconds to reply the first time hun, eh?Secondly my mother getting told to move from the table she'd sat at, despite me literally paying for our food at the same time, saying she needed to have food to have a seat. Yet others who walked in after us sat down and weren't moved on.Miserable staff too.Disappointed at the experience and we definitely won't be going back, which is a shame as the.food is top notch.

Shocking service. Elderly mother moved from seat whilst I was on a queue to buy food and drinks. Told she couldn't sit and wait even though shes due a hip replacement. Rough staff and disgusting service. Will not return and don't suggest anyone else does!

Have been here in the past and the food is ok but overpriced and often microwaved. Went in today and the young girl serving literally shouted at my octogenarian dad. Unbelievably rude so we just left and won’t be returning.

Fancied a bacon sandwich and a cuppa, could see the bacon, sausage, chips already pre-cooked on display in bowls but decided to go with it any way. Ordered 2 bacon baps from a rude lady behind the counter which she slammed in the microwave for a few seconds. 2 slices each in baps which were just air filled. That and one cappuccino came to £9.80!!! The bacon was microwaved cooked with floppy grey fat around and was tasteless. Staff looked liked they didn't want to be there. Coffee was okay. What an absolute rip off, will not be going again.

Used to be okay but went last week, fancied a bacon sandwich and a cuppa, could see the pre- cooked bacon, sausage, chips on display in bowls but decided to go with it anyway. Rude lady put bacon in microwave (2 slices each) and put it in bread bun. Ordered 1 coffee and paid at till a whopping £9.80 (2 bacon baps and one coffee). The baps were just air and the bacon was microwaved cooked with grey sloppy fat which I pulled off. Hunger no more satisfied than when I came in. Coffee was okay. What an absolute rip off, will not be going again.

Just popped in for a quick coffee and something to eat. The lass behind the food bar who was sorting the food out absolutely miserable and extremely rude. Never going back.

The worst . Pre cooked bacon and sausage that gets warmed up in microwave. £7 for a sausage bacon sandwich and a coffee. Absolute rip
