Had a family meal for my Gran's 80th. Food and service amazing but the bar staff were happy to let kids run around screaming. Kids shouldn't be allowed in pubs but when they are they should be told to sit down and be quiet.

Called into day 4 of us, placed orders for drinks and meal, drinks came straight away we waited for a hour food had still not arrived, queried it twice was told it was on its way ended up paying for drinks and walking out, no communication or explanation why we waited so long, other tables getting served before us,we were all very dissopointed with service. Will definitely not be back.

Popped in for a Sunday dinner, unfortunately the meat isn't fresh well the lamb wasn't and the small portion was the same size if not bigger than the large. If your a regular you seem to get a variety of veg, however we got only mash potatoes sweet carrots and peas only the small had roast potatoes on ? the pricing isn't bad but I won't be going again.

Stopped here after little visit to the angel of the north. Food was homemade and enjoyable. Pleasant staff and good service. Would recommend.

I need to write this review purley for the member of staff that served us. Chloe Wallace I believe her name is , she was absolutely excellent from beginning to end. Correcting me on my pronunciation on Taziki ? listing off all the draught beers adequately without looking. Which is well trained!!! Her politeness and her sass is absolutely amazing for a 20 year old . She will make an amazing manager !!!! Food was good 7/10 and could use staroparem on draught . Massive respect to young chloe her service was impeccable thank you!!!
