I suppose we ought to have taken our cue from the fact there were only two cars including our own in the car park. The establishment is clean enough and perhaps we arrived on an off day but it was a slow, muddled and unhelpful process. Upon entering a grumpy old man was scolding the obviously new help for not understanding his ability to convey instructions. I asked him if they served food and got an affirmative. After a lengthy pause I was compelled to request if they might then have any menus. This guy looked confused but a patron at the bar offered us his menu.The ordering process over I’m guessing it’s usual in this place to wait almost an hour before your food arrives. I will credit it that all the food arrived together and that it was hot. Other than that, it’s nothing special or inviting or a place I’d personally consider revisiting.

Xmas dinner absolutely ridiculous most families got a full refund an few even walked out, my 2 stars are for the 2 young lasses an young lad who got thrown in at the deep end trying their hardest to do a good job an they were taking the flak from ppl that wasn't their fault, yous did your best an every customer in that pub knew none of it was your faults, chef / owner 0 stars an the excuses were poor, the whole thing should have been cancelled days before so ppl could have made other arrangements

The tomato soup was a flavor explosion, hitting all the right notes, and the scampi and chips were a crispy delight – those chips deserve a standing ovation.To top it off, the pints were poured to perfection, adding a refreshing touch to the culinary experience. However, what truly made the evening memorable was the outstanding staff. Their friendly demeanor and attentive service elevated the atmosphere, turning a meal into a genuine celebration. Burn Inn has undoubtedly become my go-to spot for a delightful combination of great food, refreshing drinks, and a fantastic staff. Cheers to many more enjoyable visits!

Visited The Burn last weekend for lunch with my 11 year old daughter. Food was beautiful and cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and service was prompt, nothing was too much trouble. Asked my daughter where we should go for lunch this weekend and she said The Burn. We will be back this Saturday for another gorgeous meal. Thankyou to all staff keep up the good work ?

I booked up for a meal a few days earlier for 4 people. It was going to be an anniversary meal for remembering my late Dad. My friend also rang to confirm this after I had booked, as his wife questioned if they did food on a Saturday. They said they did! When we arrived we were told the chef wasn't there and questioned us regarding the booking! Why would we make it up? So we ended up going to the Copt Hill. Won't be going back here.
