First time I've frequented Village Spice. Had Chicken Vindaloo, & Pilau rice, couple of pompadoms, ordered at the counter, and it was pretty good and will visit again. Chap on counter pleasant enough. 4 stars, as I like to leave a bit leeway.

I always get tandoori mixed cocktail main, it’s always delicious, meat is tender, I also get the chicken momos, excellent flavour, Kashmiri naan - much nicer than other places, but different to peshwari naan and nicer. They cook the lamb perfectly, not chewy like other places. Spicy chips are nice and hot, always deliver on time too, big portions, good value!My favourite Indian takeaway. Been going here regularly for awhile now.

They cook the lamb perfectly, not chewy like other places. Spicy chips are nice and hot, always deliver on time too, big portions, good value!My favourite Indian takeaway. Been going here regularly for awhile now.

Really disappointed. Spent nearly £30, the prawncocktail was watery the prawns rubbery. The naan bread wasn't cooked it was thick dough the sauce and the rice were tasteless. All you could taste is salt. The only good thing was the poppadoms and the cans of pop.
My order came in a carry bag no cardboard between cartons so inevitably sauce carton was squished beyond repair korma sauce all over everything , chicken tikka dry was tough , spicy chips ok , onion balls were nice but be a long time before I come back ! Used to be beautiful but gone off the boil last twice , would not recommend at this moment in time , don’t know why it’s changed but something isn’t right ,,,

I ordered the beef pathia, when it came it had no taste very bland, whereas a pathia should be hot and spicy! will not be ordering again.

Had a takeaway from here tonight, delivered early and everything red hot and totally delicious. Using their app was easy and got a discount for doing so. Thoroughly recommend the food from here.

Ordered 13/11/22.Popadoms tasted like cardboard, got horrible by the time they were delivered. Maybe not their fault.Chicken tikka starter, chicken was burnt and tasted burnt. 2/10 at best for the starter. Honestly starter was terrible. My 8 year old could have done a better job.Main course, this was the best part of the meal to be fair. Wasn’t bad. Wasn’t great. 6.5/10. Not the tastiest I’ve had, but it was edible, unlike the starter and naan.Naan bread. Shocking. Burnt and tasted it. The worst naan I’ve ever tasted.Would not recommend. Won’t be back.
