We chose Babucho for our small family wedding reception on Friday and decided on menu one consisting of sharing platter for starters, a choice of main meal and dessert sharing platter. All food was amazing and would highly recommend.Can't thank you all enough for the outstanding service and food enjoyed by everyone.Special thanks to Stefano and Alex who were our hosts for the afternoon and went above and beyond our expectations. Food was delicious and service exceptional. Thanks to everyone for making our day extra special and the classic added extras of champagne and special desserts for Bride and Groom. Thank you ?

First visit here on a weekend trip to Newcastle. Table booked in advance of trip. Taxi was late picking us up so contacted restaurant & they moved our booking from 7:30 to 8pm without any issues & said it was ok if we arrived earlier than 8pm. Seated quickly on arrival, staff pleasant & friendly. Starters arrived within 3-4 mins of ordering. Both were delicious & well presented. Main course served, again well presented & delicious but our only gripe was being served this almost immediately after we'd finished our starters, within 3 mins of collecting empty plates, which took us by surprise. I would have preferred to have had a bit longer in between courses. There were a few empty tables so not sure why the rush which did spoil it a little hence 4 stars instead of 5. 10% optional service charge added to bill which states is shared between all staff.

Lovely restaurant, fantastic staff, food was really tasty. Private event and whole Babucho team were wonderful in helping with developing an appropriate meal for someone in the group with dietary intolerances. There's a whole vegetarian & vegan menu too. FooVegetarian options: Separate vegetarian &vegan menu with good choices.Dietary restrictions: Team are happy to help, so ring to discuss any intolerances and they'll let you know how they can help. For me, they made an off menu starter, from ingredients elsewhere on menu, and adjusted a main course to suit. I was so thankful to be able to eat out with my colleagues.

I was here celebrating my god daughters 18th birthday & they even brought out a cheesecake with a 'Happy Birthday' message on the plate.The food was delicious, extremely good value for the 2 & 3 course menus.It's a definite must...

First time ive spent a bit time in Newcastle and Babucho was close to my hotel. I was taken by their Sunday roasts so was delighted I was able to get a table.Lovely atmosphere, service was good and what you'd expect in a busy restaurant (dining at 6.30pm). Food was amazing and plentiful (I had lamb) and hot.Pricewise, very reasonable and what you'd come to expect.Folks, I thoroughly recommend Babucho. I will be back!
Staff were very accommodating, fitting us in on a very busy evening.Food menu promised more than it delivered. Average quality and flavours.Atmosphere was noisy, though we were seated next to a table with a very loud woman (probably a glass of wine too much).I wouldn't stop anybody going to Babucho, but we have found better places to eat in Newcastle.

First Sunday roast in UK for about 20 years and wasn't disappointed. Lovely atmosphere in a beautifully decorated restaurant and the food was both ample and full of flavour. Price (from what we saw) seemed fair for the quality even though our reiends treated us.
