Yum!!! The salted duck is amazing. Super meaty and flavorful, cooked perfectly, fat really nice, and cabbage absolutely delicious!!!! The mashed potatoes could be improved by the addition of garlic but so would all mashed potatoes and that is more a general opinion that I hold to be universal truth than a criticism.Bread and butter pudding definitely left something to be desired - while tasty, I'm not at all convinced that it wasn't just baked bread with custard and raisins on...read full review

Always a great selection of beer.One slice of beef is just not enough and the roast potatoes could have been crispier. Mash has no place on a roast! Give me more veg and meat. Yorkshire is 1st class! Not bad but not great, the Chare is better!

Fantastic service specifically from a server called Holly she was so friendly, chatty and even recommended food from the menu. Food was lovely and great value for money, would strongly recommend to anyone! Fantastic pub!
