“Loved this very friendly, unstuffy restaurant serving less usual food cooked to order in full sight. Wasn't sure what I ordered as hadn't encountered everything before but thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe an extra explanation on menu would help those like me who are not sure what some items on menu were ...when I asked the waiter what something was they seemed more than happy to explain .....Kid-friendliness: Took a six week old baby with us who was welcomed and made space for....”

“A great little deli and cafe with home made cakes, good coffee and lovely friendly service. We stopped on our way South, tried a cheese scone, a delicious lamb and mint pastie and an almond biscuit-all delicious so we stopped on our way back up North too!”

“Went last night for the small plates deal. The service was friendly and the staff very attentive. We found it to be extremely good value for the money and the food absolutely delicious. Each plate was so tasty and full of flavour. It’s the best meal out I’ve had for years. Keep up the good work.”

“If you want to see some oil paintings in Newcastle, this gallery is your best choice. They have two free floors and all the artwork they have is something they usually don’t change but they are not too bad. They have one room on the top floor that has seasonal art exhibits but I heard they are not worth 7 pounds. I think it depends on the exhibition. The art shop is lovely but again their products are mostly generic, but some of the art books are very cool.”

We are from South London and cycling enthusiasts, so was a great visit to see all the cycling memorabilia and the bike workshop was good to see.Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free cake which I thought was good as I often don't see them in regular place's”
