Loved this very friendly, unstuffy restaurant serving less usual food cooked to order in full sight. Wasn't sure what I ordered as hadn't encountered everything before but thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe an extra explanation on menu would help those like me who are not sure what some items on menu were ...when I asked the waiter what something was they seemed more than happy to explain .....Kid-friendliness: Took a six week old baby with us who was welcomed and made space for....

Excellent evening at Cook House. Great food, good vegetarian options, nice wine list. Staff attentive and knowledgeable. Nice relaxed atmosphere, appealing outdoor space if the weather is good. Odd location on an industrial estate,but don’t be put off, it’s worth it!

We were lucky - we ate in the outside area and the weather was just perfect. The food was outstanding and the service was great. We were a party of 7 and the food came with perfect timing and was all seasonal and delicious. Will definitely return ?
