Great and busy bar on the Ouseburn pub trail. Fantastic selection of real ale, friendly helpful staff and a quirky building full of character. Pretty much everything you could want for a drinking establishment really. Another bonus was the amazing view across the time from the small side window we were sitting next to., wonderful panoramic scene *(Shame about the pole though).

The best pub we visited on this 4 day trip to Newcastle. We were visiting the UK for 17 days and took a trip up to Newcastle to visit a cousin. Stewart took us to his favorite spots and this one did not disappoint. I have a third pint of the Overnight Oats (9.5%). It was a small hike to get here from the city centre but the view from the beer garden was amazing. On the must visit again list the next time we are in Newcastle.

Class pints, class view, class pub. Nothing more you need really. Lovely warm environment and always a good choice on tap.
