This place is a hidden gem! The food is amazing: fresh, tasty, full of flavour and good sized portions. Staff are very friendly and always smiling. Nothing seems too much for them to do. It's a cozy little place but has the most homely atmosphere.

We were a party of 3 and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Everything was beautifully cooked. Service was fast, friendly and efficient- without feeling rushed in any way.The tiramisu was the equal of anywhere. As other people mention, the parking is difficult - but this place is worth a bit of a walk. I'd recommend reserving. The pricing makes this place excellent value for money.

Called in on spur of the moment for early evening dinner. Very friendly staff, seated straight away near kitchen area. Great to see the chefs at work! Food was really tasty - I had penne con pollo. Dessert was even better - homemade Tiramisu absolutely delicious. Great service and great value! Will definitely be back!
Brilliant little corner shop bistro no airs or graces just great food and a welcome the staff were very professional. We were treated properly with respect and were given the menus the watchful staff very courteous and unobtrusive. The food was very Italian but not pretentious just proper good food. We were sat next to kitchen as the food was prepared, I found that to be a bonus I like to see chefs at work and they occasionally smiled to see if we were enjoying our meals. This has been a breath of fresh air compared to recent food outings! Well done to the manager and staff.

Mascalzone is my favourite Italian restaurant ever, it truly is a neighbourhood gem! All the food is incredible and great value considering the amazing quality, I cannot speak highly enough of the lobster & crab ravioli which is one of the best raviolis I've ever had in my life. Service is great and staff go above and beyond, special thanks to Sabina & co for making my mum's belated birthday so special - really such a great restaurant. Also, considering they are a seafood restaurant, the seafood is always SO fresh regardless of what time of year it is, which is fantastic. Thank you :)

Came here with my family for my brother's 50th. I can only echo the sentiments shared about the wonderful food and service but we also loved the great tunes! Appreciate that shouldn't affect ratings but it certainly gets a thumbs up from this old 80's kid. Back to the food though - had the meatball starter which was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. For a main, I had a Piccante pizza which was equally wonderful. Service achieved that perfect blend of being swift yet laid back and everyone said a cheery goodbye to us when we left.Whole-heartedly recommend this wonderful restaurant and will definitely be back!
