Mascalzone is my favourite Italian restaurant ever, it truly is a neighbourhood gem! All the food is incredible and great value considering the amazing quality, I cannot speak highly enough of the lobster & crab ravioli which is one of the best raviolis I've ever had in my life. Came here with my family for my brother's 50th. I can only echo the sentiments shared about the wonderful food and service but we also loved the great tunes! Appreciate that shouldn't affect ratings but it certainly gets a thumbs up from this old 80's kid. Back to the food though - had the meatball starter which was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. For a main, I had a Piccante pizza which was equally wonderful. We were a party of 3 and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Everything was beautifully cooked. Service was fast, friendly and efficient- without feeling rushed in any way.The tiramisu was the equal of anywhere. As other people mention, the parking is difficult - but this place is worth a bit of a walk. I'd recommend reserving. The pricing makes this place excellent value for money.
