Lovely place to stay ,the food was great the staff are fantastic and as for the breakfast what can I say apart from it's one of the best I've had in a long time you will not leave hungry, the only down point for me was the bed which was a little bit on the hard side for me but that doesn't take anything away from the whole

Rooms outdated, constant fan noise in bathroom all night, fire alarms kept on going off due to another room keep on setting it off. Limiter storage if staying for longer period, view was plastic bags, waste and over grown shrubbery. USB port damaged beside bed (at least cover it up), bathroom sink no hot water for the 2 days, lack of seating and comfort inside room

Location you need a car to get places or have plenty of money for taxis constantly. First night we didnt sleep with banging above us until 4am. Reported a leak in the toilet, second night we didnt sleep either with the noise of the leak in the toilet.

We came to Newcastle for the night and needed somewhere to stay. It was easy to find but the entrance was straight after the round about. So make sure you’re in the left lane.Plenty of parking ?️ onsite. Checkin was quick and easy. Our room was and cosy a bit too cosy after we left the heating on . You couldn’t hear any road noise in the rooms which was great. The shower ? has great water pressure and you need great pressure. ? overall good hotel for a good price. If you’re hungry next door is a pub and the food is great.

We booked 2 rooms as we arrived 1 room wasn't ready even though we arrived at 320pm towels and stuff were quickly put into place and they either forgot to hoover it or not bothered as there was popcorn still on the bed and you could tell the floor needed a hoover the other room was fine also the internet signal was poor and whoever was running and jumping about in the room above disturbed us for a while but other than that cheap and cheerful and friendly staff both at reception and in the breakfast/dining area breakfast was ok overall for what we paid and the friendliness it was a pleasant stay probably just a one off with the 1 room not being ready.

Not quite the views of the hartlepool marina premier inn and also a little more dated than that one also no led bedlights here like at most of the premier inns

Every single premier inn that I'm put in has the worst Internet available. It's slow and cuts out constantly. No other chain/ hotel has this issue. Even normal phone signal in these places is interrupted and slow. I'm not sure why this is, but it's every single premier inn. The faster Internet should be made available to all customers for free.

After arriving when the kitchen had closed for the night & a 4 hr drive, Mark the chef went back into the kitchen to cook me a meal. An absolute star and food was amazing. The staff are lovely and highly recommend staying here they go above and

This was a reasonable room, (very warm weekend and the room only had a fan which just circulated warm air around) like any Premier Inn, very overpriced though as it was the Great North Run weekend. Would not stay again for £150 per night and charged extra for breakfast which I know it is not included normally but think it should have been due to being so pricey. Restaurant was adjoined to the hotel which was really handy and free parking available too. Local to Metro if needed and a small shopping area and abouy an hour to South Sheilds depending on traffic. Staff and service - very friendly. Enjoyed visiting Newcastle and local areas.

Whilst the staff and service were fantastic the lack or air con or ability to open the windows, coupled with the fact the inside of the hotel was incredibly warm, made for a very uncomfortable stay. Would not recommend for a warm day or summer to stay here. I got very little sleep the night before the Great North Run. They also bump the prices for the GNR weekend, but to be fair, they all do.

Emma was so welcoming with the little gifts at the start of the day of the race. The rooms was nice and clean but a tad hot... It would be nice if the dates was available now to book then we can are guaranteed a room. Hope you can open the dates soon. Massive thank you to Emma and vicky

Stayed here when going to a conference. Location was very convenient to both get to and then get to our conference the next day. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the rooms were clean, tidy and had everything that you need to be comfortable for the night. I particularly appreciated that they had shut the curtains to keep the heat out, so when we checked in we weren't faced with an inferno of heat in our rooms! Great little touch. Breakfast was actually one of the nicest I've had in a Premier Inn (and i've never really had a bad one). Everything was fresh and tasty, nothing too much trouble at all. If I find myself back up in Newcastle area, I'd gladly stay in this one again.
